This is a two-piece tea strainer that measures 6 inches in length for the top piece × 4inches on the base and the width of the top piece is 4 inches. It is not marked Nippon but I had it dated and confirmed buy a certified appraiser. If you are a tea drinker and you collect porcelain pieces this would be a great one for your collection. Beautiful and intricately painted and has the little bumpy nubs that is typical of Nippon. There's no chips or cracks and is in wonderful condition for its age.

ladyaffinityVery unique and lovely piece. I collect tea cups and tea pots, creamer and sugar bowl sets. I have never seen anything quite like this. The colors are not right for my collection but I do wish you much success with your sales. I am sure someone will find it a charming addition to their collection.
