May 2024 update: our adoption is complete! We have a lovely little boy and are so grateful! January 2023 update: we appreciate all the kind words in the comments. In the fall, we had a failed match, but are continuing the journey. We appreciate how our Posh sales have helped us save for an adoption. Original post: We are home study approved for an adoption! lustresister @clemsonalum05 I get that!! Our first adoption (my son) was an easy textbook one. We got a match 7 weeks after we started being presented, baby was born 2 months later. With my daughter, it wasn’t so easy. We had 2 failed (and heartbreaking) placements before getting a third match the day birth mom went into labor...halfway across the country. That was a whirlwind.
