Beautiful hand thrown Japanese rice bowls by local artisan Akiko. Ironware heavy feel. Set of 2 or selling individually. Both black clay bowls with Japanese symbol. Size 5" x 2.75" h. I have 4-keeping 2. Mine have the Harmony & family symbol-my daughters name so I am keeping them for her. Great for serving sticky rice dish or I use mine for snacks like cashews or pistachios-sometimes m&ms! Nice bowls. Rustic. Handmade art.

grasshopper026 What do the symbols mean in the two that you are selling? New or used?

islandbaggage @grasshopper026 They are like new, I purchased them at Seattle's Pike Place Market from Akiko when she had a booth there. I have kept them in a sideboard China hutch. They are Japanese writing. one means harmony, family love & happiness. I have a daughter whose name is Harmony. I am keeping that one for her. I have used one on my kitchen bar for roasted cashews or other snacks. Very fine stoneware pottery. you can find it on her website.

grasshopper026 @islandbaggage Oh, perfect! Can you do free shipping? My offer is low as a result of shipping prices. Will they be wrapped super safe so that they arrive safely? I’m in WA state.

islandbaggage @grasshopper026 I am on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound. I am offended; I am selling very nice things I have to make ends meet due to situation. If I even considered giving you these for $15 & free shipping, poshmark takes 20% off the total. I would net a little over $5. why would anyone take such a loss? If you want cheap things, go to Good will.
