Vintage Mixed Materials Art To Wear Tunic Top

Where to begin to describe this? This piece has a lacy shell (as seen on the back) and textured, shiny, ombre strips of fabric criss-crossing the front. There is velvet-type material covering the shoulders and a v-neck like lacy and embellished insert in front. Four different kinds of trim add further detail. Based on the shoulder pads, I am thinking that this might be a piece from the 1980s. Brand is Giallo Napoli; 100% rayon. Size L, measures about 25 in across the chest & 25.5 in in length.
