I see sellers ALL THE TIME say that leggings are aligns when they’re not so this is a post meant to educate those buying aligns who need help. Look for these 3 things (the leggings you buy should pass all 3)! 1. Look at the gusset/crotch area (pic 2). Aligns do NOT have the triangular gusset. This is the best way to identify aligns. If the seller does not post this pic, ask for it before you buy! 2. Size dot pocket location (pic 3-4) for older Wunder unders 3. Seam shape in the back (pic 5)

vanne43081Omg! thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I didn’t know the difference ❤️I hope you have an amazing day

jenniferkidd339So i am new to Lulu’s & this sounds dumb I’m sure but which are better, Align or Wonder Unders?

Jan 23Reply

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

tlc305@ngocnguyen1994 I see a lot! Even fell for it once lol. Back side is a huge help too the way align does the V as opposed to wunder under being straight across.

Mar 12Reply

ngocnguyen1994@tlc305 you’re totally right - I totally forgot! I added this as a mother way to tell - thank you so much!

Mar 12Reply

sundriedstarsOne thing I’d like to add! Now that they make high rise wunder unders, the size dot for wunder unders will have the same pocket placement as aligns. The main differences I’d say as a past lulu employee are the double seams along the inseam with aligns and the straight across butt seam on wunder unders like u pointed out!

Mar 12Reply

sundriedstars*same size dot placement in the same pocket

Mar 12Reply

ngocnguyen1994@sundriedstars that’s a really good point! Thanks for your comment :)

Mar 12Reply

jpowers323Omg so glad you posted this!! I see people calling every style of lululemon legging aligns lol drives me crazy!! ❤️

Mar 12Reply

ngocnguyen1994@jpowers323 It drives me crazy too! I comment on these wrong posts just because I want to help other buyers. Sometimes the seller honestly doesn’t know and they’ll adjust their listing after I tell them but other times they’ll just outright block me/delete my comment - even when I’m just being nice and trying to help them from misleading buyers. 😒😒 so many people DM me and say that they were misled by other sellers so I just decided to make this post to help others!

Mar 12Reply

jpowers323@ngocnguyen1994 I know exactly what you mean!! I’ve had several sellers insist their low rise wunder unders were aligns and it got to the point where I stopped commenting on listings to correct them lol hopefully many will see your post and get enlightened! 😊

Mar 12Reply

kiki_stylesBravo! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Mar 12Reply

mystellajamesOMG! I thought about creating a post like this. Drives me nuts when I see someone list their WUs as Aligns. I hope people see this! 👏🏽🤞🏽

Mar 13Reply

ngocnguyen1994@mystellajames it drives me crazy too! And then I feel super bad for the poor girl that buys the leggings without knowing!

Mar 13Reply

happy_cactus_coThank you for this!!! When I'm hunting for Aligns, I don't want to see WU & visa versa. Even worse when you nicely point it out to the seller & they come back all huffy "Um I think I know my Lulu" Obviously you don't Karen!! And there a lot of people who buy thrift and truly have no idea. So this is great and much much needed.

Mar 13Reply

ngocnguyen1994@happy_cactus_co your comment made me laugh so hard! But yes I totally agree :)

Mar 13Reply

mystellajames@happy_cactus_co Yeah, Karen! Karen’s about to talk to the manager. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mar 14Reply

mystellajames@ngocnguyen1994 I like to comment that they’re WUs and hope that buyers see it. Sometimes sellers appreciate and will change the listing. Others will delete and re-list so the comment is gone.... karma.

Mar 14Reply

ichabod25@ngocnguyen1994 Thank you!! This is such a pet peeve of mine!

Mar 14Reply

kittycatla@laurens66 I found this post very informative.

Mar 25Reply

laurens66@kittycatla thanks girl!

Mar 25Reply

egnalos_bOMG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE DIFFERENCE JESUS I WAS GETTING TIRED OF COMMENTING THESE ARENT ALIGN OR THESE ARENT WUNDER UNDER

Mar 26Reply

ngocnguyen1994@egnalos_b you and me both! 😂😂

Mar 26Reply

jentav20THANK YOU!!! I’m always confused!! Appreciate the information!!

soccerstartatymHi I am not sure but a pair of lulu leggings looks sketchy. The pictures are not very good and the lulu sign looks off. She also won’t say the style. Should I tag you in it?

Apr 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@soccerstartatym sure!

Apr 28Reply

soccerstartatym@ngocnguyen1994 wait how do I do that?😂😂😂 do I just comment your name haha

Apr 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@soccerstartatym yes!! With the @ symbol too! Like when you reply to my comments, it automatically @‘s me so just copy and paste that into the actual listing! :)

Apr 28Reply

soccerstartatym@ngocnguyen1994 ok thanks! I’m not sure bc she has many love notes but you can’t be to sure!

Apr 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@soccerstartatym I wouldn’t do it if u were you - the logo looks off to me. I think it’s supposed to emulate a Wunder Under but I can’t find any pink WU that matches this look. I can’t say it’s 100% fake with certainty but I don’t think you should do it based on that logo only. :/ be careful!!

Apr 28Reply

soccerstartatym@ngocnguyen1994 ok, thank you so much! Once again!❤️👏🏻😁

Apr 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@soccerstartatym anytime! 💕💕

May 01Reply

ngocnguyen1994@rachel_wesley lunar rock! :)

May 09Reply

sundaylemonsThank you so much! I’ve been seeing a ton of “aligns” that are straight across in the back and almost convinced myself that they were made that way at some point. You rock!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

May 10Reply

ngocnguyen1994@sundaylemons yes be careful! Some sellers really don’t know their lululemon so they’ll just claim any type of legging that looks like aligns (aka Wunder under). Good luck in your search!

May 10Reply

xapis_styleOh my god yes this is such a pet peeve of mine! Any old lulu leggings are “aligns” and any old shorts are speed shorts 🙄 bless you and your ministry LOL

May 13Reply

ngocnguyen1994@karisfaith lol! 💕💕

May 13Reply

sophieh05770so helpful!! a lot of people advertise WU’s as aligns, or vice versa. also, i love your account, it’s so helpful for my lulu questions. thanks for posting this✨

May 18Reply

ngocnguyen1994@sophieh05770 if course girl! Always more than happy to share my knowledge! :) 💕💕

May 18Reply

lherman1990Thanks for posting! I was struggling to remember which rule of leggings I had to sell. This was very helpful :)

May 19Reply

ngocnguyen1994@lherman1990 more than happy to help! 😊

May 19Reply

itsmree@ngocnguyen1994 are there ever authentic aligns that don't have a size dot? I see some on here and when I ask the seller re: dot, hey say there is no dot and things like "I've owned many aligns that don't have a size dot..."

May 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@itsmree I’d be hesitant. Mainly because a lot of the older fakes don’t have the size dot. However, I do know that in some rare cases that the size dot can fall out as well as some of the older aligns (circa 2015-2016) don’t have it. But the newer colors within the last 3 years really should have the size dot.

May 28Reply

itsmree@ngocnguyen1994 thank you!! i don't think its worth saving $10 LOL thank you so much!

May 28Reply

ngocnguyen1994@itsmree yeah it’s not worth the headache and hassle of returning etc! (If posh will even let you return).

May 28Reply

amberray2463I bought a pair of “wunder under” and the gusset is a triangle but the size dot pocket is like the align pocket. Does this mean they are just an older model of wunder under? Thanks!

Jul 23Reply

ngocnguyen1994@amberray2463 I think the newer Wunder unders have the pocket like the aligns! The older ones is the one I have in this post! Sorry for the confusion!

killlunakillGirl THANK YOU. I'm new to Lululemon and I'm like.. why doesn't anyone say the style? now I can hunt for clues!

ngocnguyen1994@killlunakill ☺️☺️

abby406for the size dot do they have to have the words around the outside to be real cause the pink one doesn't and I have seen some others on here without the words too?

Jan 03Reply

ngocnguyen1994@abby406 yes the older versions of lululemon around 2015-2016 just have the size number! Beware though that some fakes only have the size number too so you’ll have to look at the pants thoroughly to make sure it’s authentic!

Jan 03Reply

abby406@ngocnguyen1994 ok thanks!
