Reveriano Castillo Taxco Sterling Quartz Caterpillar Brooch Whimsical 6 inch

I have had this pin before but shorter. This is a whopping 6 inches long. Made by Reveriano Castillo. The graduated sterling balls, with cute little feet, end in a pointed tail which has a hook pin to keep it in place. The first 3 segments are static but the rest are linked and move freely. The head is made of rutilated quartz or Mexican boulder opal with antennas and has a c-clasp pin. Could be a shoulder brooch or cape clasp.
