Very special, rare vintage, Yves Saint Laurant amber color pierced earrings have safety closure. These are vintage Yves and make a wonderfully distinctive statement. They are made of a bakelite type material so they are not too heavy but have the look of ribbed glass. There is a tiny blemish on the back of one as seen in the photo but does not affect the front in any way.

@catherline0902 Hi, No, changing the outside of the earring back would not affect the look because the inside of the back is what shows through.

@stephmgreen Hi Steph, These earrings are approximately 1 inch wide by 1 inch high.
The photo taken next to a quarter hopefully helps you "feel" the size.
