Hi! I'm Lenore. I went to school for fashion design & have been working in the fashion industry for 26 yrs. I’ve been selling my illustrations online for 16 yrs & opened my Posh closet Sept. 2019. Through the years I’ve acquired some great fashion finds. Many items are NWT and several were only worn once or twice. My selection is eclectic, so my closet will appeal to different tastes. I’d appreciate some advise.. in your opinion, is it better to show items grouped in categories ( like I do now) or to have them more scattered? I love the idea of having them organized in categories, but I don’t know if that will stop shoppers from scrolling. I originally had them more scattered and kept my favorite items at the top. Anyway I don’t know which is better.... thanks 😊

innerbeautyposh@lenoregarnhum I like categories myself & I’ve visited many closets set up that way. It just makes it easier for the buyer, I think. I’m also a tiny bit OCD so categories and organization are my thing! That being said when you self share your closet you might decide to do targeted sharing where you share items with the greatest # of likes.

innerbeautyposh@lenoregarnhum I’m only just learning about targeted sharing but it makes those items visible to more people, and so on. Like right before a party, etc. And it varies your interaction with the platform & the PM algorithm likes that! However It also really messes up a closet! So at the end of the day, I go back and reorganize my closet so I can sleep! 😂 I’ve just been listening/following to a few people on YouTube & Instagram too...they’re a gold mine of information and strategy!

Funny thing is that up until about 6/7 years ago I didn’t like country music... then I started to like it and now it’s what I listen to most of the time. The most amazing experience was last June I went to Nashville fir the CMA Dest/CMT Awards. Such a blast! 4 days of concerts from morning till night! I love to dance, I don’t do country/line dancing, though. I take it you’re a dancer (your screen name).

My bf/dance partner and I started dancing two-step and the other country dances, and, of course, they played country music! Now I like it, but my partner doesn’t. Thank goodness he’s a great dancer, so I guess I’ll have to keep him! LOL. If you’re so inclined, try some two-step partner dance lessons. It is so much fun!

I'm about to start my closet and had a quick question that I was hoping you could shed some insight into: How did u create an image for your header WHILE keeping your pic in a circle? (hope this makes sense). When I changed my profile photo, it also made my photo as the image/banner, whereas I wanted a different image. I also tried Canva but it doesn't let me do an image AND keep my photo in a circle. Thanks so much!!

gvoxx_poshOMG ...I just re-read your listing...you studied Fashion Design, too??!! I did too! Where did you get your degree? I got mine at Los Angeles Trade College because it was less expensive than The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM)! I was in the Industry for only 5 years and then I had my daughter which forced me to find a job that was more flexible with scheduling. Now I’m in the real estate business. No wonder I love your stuff! You have design taste! 👍😎😁

That's when I started to sell note cards with my illustrations & doing custom work. There are some item here. Under the home category you'll see my note cards. I also have some upcycled bags that I painted & jeans I painters with bleach. Are you selling any designs or upcycles?

As for selling any of my work here, unfortunately, I don’t design and sew freelance as much as I used to because my real estate business consumes too much of my time now.
