golfoolswife@janetu882 z. Hi! That’s because I’m stretching it to it’s widest. The initial measurements were in just a sitting position. Please look at the photos. It’s a great large bag, but the outside does need to be cleaned with leather cleaner. Thanks for your interest....🤗
