This is a beautiful, rare, and very collectible 58 year old vintage carré designed by Francoise Heron titled “Le Timbalier” first issued by Hermès in 1961. The design depicts a 'Timbalier,' or a timpanist, a mounted royal drummer riding his decorated mount playing his drums rendered in amazing intricate detail. This is a rare, original 1961 issue per its copyright symbol. This scarf is a work of art suitable for framing.
