Sep 03Reply

emm628So I found out that it’s actually a poshmark corporate account. This app has turned into an absolute slop fest! That’s why the other apps are soaring and poshmark is becoming irrelevant. They’re creating their own demise.

Sep 14Reply

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

rjrjrjrjrjIf you ever figure out how to get rid of the pm editor please reply to my comment and show me. Lol

Mar 26Reply

alexbentley6@timw405 dear god I know.

Mar 26Reply

alexbentley6@timw405 I even have them blocked and won’t leave me tf alone.

Apr 20Reply

xxstephenxx745@timw405 how do u block him I just joined

Apr 20Reply

alexbentley6@xxstephenxx745 I blocked and still get notifications

Apr 20Reply

rjrjrjrjrj@xxstephenxx745 blocking unfortunately does absolutely nothing.

Apr 21Reply

alexbentley6Yea it’s annoying

Apr 21Reply

xxstephenxx745who is the pm editor

Apr 21Reply

xxstephenxx745he is a stupid moron

Apr 21Reply

rjrjrjrjrj@xxstephenxx745 the PM editor is just Poshmark trying to push their products. It’s so dumb. If we want something we will search for it. Showing us irrelevant things every day is just annoying. Sorry for giving you guys more notifications lol.

Apr 24Reply

alexbentley6@timw405 I love that this has turned into a full blown discussion that many others agree this shit is annoying

Apr 24Reply

rjrjrjrjrj@alexbentley6 hahaha. They need to just do what ebay does and put similar items we buy in the home page feed. Imposing their will in the notifications section is just bad business. I’m sure everyone turned off their phone setting for notifications because of it. The tab is useless.

Apr 25Reply

cyclomatic411You guys @alexbentley6, @timw405, @xxstephenxx745, do realize, this is only a sellers/buyers tool within the app that grants greater exposure to sellers and buyers? And there are 4 Posh party events, daily. Your not obligated to participate at all. But this is what Poshmark is about. And hopefully you've learned, you control your feed by who you follow and brands of your interest. Happy Poshing guys!

Nov 22Reply

alexbentley6@cyclomatic411 and I don’t want stupid as fcuk notifications about shit I clearly have never liked or have interest in.

Nov 22Reply

cyclomatic411@alexbentley6 Yeah I get your hate it. But it's literally the design of this platform. The more followers, the more notifications. you can always shut them off in your phone app settings if it's that bothersome. Just make it work for you! Good luck going forward.

Nov 22Reply

alexbentley6@cyclomatic411 notifications are off. The dumb stuff still shows up. Stop justifying it. Nobody asked. It’s ignorant and we don’t want it to happen to us. Period.

Nov 22Reply

alexbentley6@cyclomatic411 I’ve sold more than you without following 63k people or sharing 20k times too. So I don’t need advice lol.

Nov 22Reply

cyclomatic411Cool. Be well.

Nov 22Reply

rjrjrjrjrj@cyclomatic411 they should have an option for you to tailor what kind of notifications you want (like most apps allow you to). I want notifications like comments, shipping notices, etc. I don’t want notifications on Poshmark events. If I want to buy something I’ll search for it. I have absolutely 0 interest in the items shown in these Poshmark events. PM should also give us the option to send direct messages to sellers and give us notifications on those.

Nov 23Reply

cyclomatic411I understand what your saying. I don't disagree. I wish Poshmark had options to streamline things more. Just not the way it operates so far.

Nov 23Reply

tigo123Feel free to check out my page for size 13 shoes. Happy to work out a deal.

Feb 10Reply

alexbentley6@sbparker59 it’s annoying

Nov 21Reply

alexbentley6@sbparker59 yes I don’t need invites to baby toys super party once a week and a notification for it too.

Nov 22Reply

phil_beaudoin🤬🤬🤬

Feb 28Reply

pasnonYes please, it's garbage. It only exists so Poshmark can tell sellers more people will see their listings if they participate but nobody cares about it, they just try to ignore the countless "parties" that clog up the notifications.

Jun 04Reply

alexbentley6@pasnon it gets old

Jun 04Reply

cal1berf1xt@alexbentley6 🤣🤣 I'm trying to block the pm_editor too. But this convo made my day.

Sep 23Reply

vanswssalmdAnd party notifications are also off..still get them

Sep 23Reply

gavinnycI blocked them, reported them as spam, and turned off notifications. Still get them. @pm_editor listen to your customers dude

Oct 31Reply

alexbentley6@gavinnyc borderline harassment

Oct 31Reply

gavinnycIt's just dark pattern UX and a broken customer promise. If I turn something off, it should be off.

Oct 31Reply

bluecarey"You have 9 notifications" "Cool!!" "PM Editor thinks you'll love this new look!" x8 "No."

alexbentley6@bluecarey they magically haven’t seen this that’s been commented on a bunch for over a year.

Nov 01Reply

bluecarey@alexbentley6 I checked out the link that @obriensquared posted and made some adjustments to my notifications. We'll see if it works.

Nov 01Reply

Feb 01Reply

ohsusannamarieSAME. I have BLOCKED @ pm_editor AND turned off ALL Party Invite notifications and still continue to get SPAMMED w @ pm_editor notifications. I'd REALLY like to turn off these notifications, as they're excessive and I end up overlooking important notifications about my listings.

Mar 09Reply

alexbentley6@ohsusannamarie it’s made me mostly disregard this app completely and spend my money on stock X instead.

Mar 09Reply

krystie86Lol I love this. I hope they one day realize how many people just want to shut this off. I have never been and will never be interested in joining a party. Makes me hate this app

Mar 15Reply

s2mediathat gotdamned spam is the reason why i'll never use this app to buy a duckin thing!!

Mar 22Reply

jnmielcarekA frustrating aspect of Poshmark for sure. I've contacted Poshmark to request the option to stop marketing messages/spam. Maybe if Poshmark gets flooded with requests to opt out of these messages, they'll start to take it seriously. I'm close to discontinuing my account because of this single issue. It's very disrespectful to ignore members' requests.

Mar 25Reply

gabrielajuarez@poshmark @pmeditor need to come to jesus and realize that everyone hates this and they need to remove it.

Apr 23Reply

gabrielajuarez@ohsusannamarie same!!! @poshmark @pmeditor need to stop forcing this on us!!

Apr 23Reply

ironposhyman@jnmielcarek my response from Poshmark about turning off these notifications: Thanks for reaching out to us. I apologize for any inconvenience but those notifications unfortunately cannot be turned off. We truly value input from the Poshmark community and we're so happy to hear your suggestions. Rest assured I will pass this along to the right department for further consideration.

May 10Reply

alexbentley6@ironposhyman aka nothing gonna happen lol

ironposhyman@alexbentley6 They’re so desperate

May 10Reply

caribe26I thought I was the only one! I googled it and it brought me to you. I am so freaking annoyed at the amount of notifications I get despite me blocking him.

May 16Reply

alexbentley6@caribe26 I do like that google sent you here lol

May 16Reply

silver_punkThere’s a special ring in hell for the pm editor and their infuriating notifications 👿

May 16Reply

doxakypie@pm_editor — it’s like knocking on a posh deaf man’s door. Knock, comment, call, block, ring the bell, no matter what you do that door will never be answered. Thx Poshmark for turning a blind eye and playing deaf to your customers.

Jul 31Reply

alexbentley6@doxakypie I basically don’t even use the app anymore because of it I just use e.Bay. Lol

Jul 31Reply

doxakypie@alexbentley6 yes ur right

Jul 31Reply

heirloom@alexbentley6 or maternity wear, sheesh! I’m 46 and single. Like am I going to keep getting those notifications until I’m 86?

Aug 17Reply

purewavesI emailed support they said it can't be turned off even if you disable party invites or block that account. I go to my feed to check offers and new items I don't need unwanted party invites for sandals and kids clothes. It's really irritating.

Sep 28Reply

alexbentley6@purewaves yea I have them blocked lol

Sep 28Reply

kellskj@alexbentley6 DITTO!

Oct 14Reply

missmansouriThose pm_ editor invites are useless. Has anyone figured out a way to stop getting them? I I don’t think Poshmark cares, if they’re making money from it! 👎. Poshmark has turned into a big garage sale. with all private “parties” selling items starting at $5.!

Nov 16Reply

missmansouri@pasnon absolutely. Poshmark must be making lots more money (made through volume sales) with hundreds of Poshmark parties, even though sellers are selling their items at $5 - $8 👎😡

Dec 31Reply

svinorinReally hate it. Always get notifications so think I'll have an offer on something I've liked, nope! It's 20+ stupid things from pm editor that have no relevance to me whatsoever.

Jan 25Reply

kriskinnI have been searching for a way to do this omg! I blocked them and turned off party notifications and it still floods my feed. There’s so much I despise about PM, this being one of many things. Is there a better app to migrate to? I’ve got to look into ThreadUP.

Jan 26Reply

chikkabellaI hate that as well!!!!

Feb 19Reply

retroaddict20@alexbentley6 is there shy thing we can do about it ? Seriously I have a nervous breakdown here in there about this dozen of notificaciones every single day . Class action needs to be initiated.

Feb 24Reply

emberluver@retroaddict20 this is hilarious, I was looking this up on Google today because I keep missing important notifications about buyers and packages bc of the stupid pm editor ones!!!

Feb 26Reply

Feb 26Reply

kaybis1123Can i like this a million times? Eff You PM EDITOR

Feb 28Reply

austin_posh23Hate pm_editor. Please for the love of God fix this. At least when we block you, be blocked.

Mar 12Reply

berenicea17agreed! considering deleting poshmark because of the pm editor. I've tried everything to stop them from flooding my notifications

Mar 20Reply

achickwwitAnd this is why I continue to prioritize eee-bay.

Mar 31Reply

funluvnantyI’m missing important notifications because of all the show invites. So annoying. This is only 1 of the many reasons I’m considering dropping Poshmark.

Apr 02Reply

vintaglectibleI have not been able to list anything for weeks because when I try to, Posh tries to get me to install their App even though I am on a desktop and not a mobile device. Makes the site useless for me. I have contacted support multiple times and never get an answer. Just get same "please send user info, screen captures, etc" which I have done. And yes, the pm editor and invites you can't turn off make this site complete crap. ...and while I'm at it..... the way photos get cropped is dump.

Apr 09Reply

aubreyburkhart@achickwwit I’m so tired of the @pm_editor notifications. They stopped me from opening up the app to get actual notifications that are needed when I’m purchasing things… So I’ve just stopped purchasing things from Poshmark. I really, really wanted to like this app, but feel like I’m being harassed constantly.

Apr 14Reply

classycloset52Hi all I ended up here after googling “how to block pm_editor notifications. Sad to learn that blocking the account doesn’t help. I guess I’ll try changing my notification settings 😐 at least now I know it’s not just me

May 01Reply

hope1275@alexbentley6 Same!!! Blocking has no power against @pm_editor. 😔

May 03Reply

oldlinewatchesno joke, if I could pay $99 to never see another notification from @pm_editor I would do it in a heartbeat.

May 22Reply

73nessieamen.... I agree

May 27Reply

mojokatWhy is the Poshmark editor allowed to spam us EVERY SINGLE DAY?? Not one of these effing Posh “parties” is of any interest to me, NOT EVER. If I’m looking for something, I know how to search for it. I’m not stupid. 🤯

Jun 01Reply

jonesat23if anyone ever finds a new selling and buying app that doesn’t harass you into “parties” (literally who wants to be begged to attend 6 parties a day on their phone 😭) and has decent selling fees and a shipping system let me know! i’ve tried dep. but find the shipping to be confusing and kind of like instagram rather than selling. Totally understand that they do it and it provides outreach but if we have them blocked and reported…. then i feel like this shouldn’t even be a conversation.

Jun 04Reply

mojokatI am SO sick of this crap in my inbox every single effing day. I have never watched a stupid posh party and I never will. Why do they insist on forcing this down our throats? I report each one as spam, because that’s exactly what it is!

Jun 10Reply

possideoBlocking him has no effect. I report him as spam every once in a while. Everyone should. If anyone comes up with a permanent fix that would be great!

Jun 17Reply

alexbentley6@possideo i love that this post has this much traction but they won’t change anything

Jun 17Reply

possideoEven worse if you are also a casual seller as well as shopper where you don’t have your nose in here constantly, then it makes it too easy to miss a sale because they get buried in all the other notifications.

Jun 21Reply

_dollyyIF SOMEONE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO STOPPPPP PM EDITOR FROM SENDING ME ANY NOTIFICATIONS PLSSSSS LMK ITS SO ANNOYING MY GOD

Jun 21Reply

clarestjamesYesssss. I blocked but I think it's a Poshmark staff account?

Jun 25Reply

david4643@cyclomatic411 The problem I have is these pm_editor notifications clog up the notifications when I'm looking for a notification about a purchase having been shipped. I've made two purchases. The first seller vanished with no communication and no shipping. The second has been AWOL for the 8 days after purchase. (He joined, included a picture, listed the item I bought, and has never returned.) I just want what I bought and, instead of getting notifications about my purchase, the invitations clog

Jul 13Reply

drjjoynerIt's so frustrating. I have to constantly scroll past all of this spam to see my actual offers and counteroffers for things I actually want to buy.

Jul 24Reply

rayquel1Wow! Appreciating this thread. @poshmark really needs to listen to users to have power over in app notifications. I found this thread on google while trying to turn off pm editor and follower notifications. Really sours the user experience and buries what is important

Jul 29Reply

jasmithloveYes please stop with the spam notifications! Or have a way to sign out or turn off. It ruins the experience and makes me not want to use the platform. @pm_editor

Sep 05Reply

alainchristianAdding to the chorus of people who wish we could block this annoyance that clutters our notifications.

Sep 21Reply

anavinIt’s seriously is the worst thing ever! Users should be able to control their notifications. @pm_editor needs to be something we can block. Poshmark really needs to fix this problem.

Sep 24Reply

tllessonsSame complaint here - getting invites to nothing I am interested in. I work full-time, not shop full-time! News feed is bombarded with @pm_editor posts 24 hours a day.

Oct 07Reply

missmansouriI wish I could stop notifications from pm editor. ! I don’t want or need to hear from them!! 😡

Oct 08Reply

missmansouri@twwttw - how did you block them? Thx!

Oct 08Reply

misswilsonsnook@missmansouri they can’t be blocked. It’s literally an unblock-able account 🫨

Oct 11Reply

missmansouri@twwttw - and you aren’t getting pm_editor invites anymore? How did you stop them? I’ve blocked every party on my settings! Thx We all want to know!!

Oct 11Reply

missmansouri@xxstephenxx745 - nobody knows! All the pm editors pages are the same. I’m sick of it / them & Poshmark!

Oct 11Reply

missmansouri@phil_beaudoin - 💯% totally agree

Oct 11Reply

missmansouriPoshmark is turning into a garage sale! 👎🏻Poshmark doesn’t care! They are making lots more money, due to increase in volume of sales

Oct 11Reply

missmansouri@willythompson1 - have you heard anything back? Let me guess…. No??

Oct 11Reply

jenjoubExcessive PM Editor message make it extremely difficult to identify actually important messages like offers, etc. I’ve legit missed offers to sales because they were hidden in the bowels of excessive PM editor messages. So frustrating. They should be in a separate category of messages. Not mixed in with offers.

Nov 10Reply

Jan 15Reply

13orchids@alexbentley6 , Absolutely hate the live show invites, party notifications, empty bundles with daily paragraphs filled with emoji riddled spam nonsense, and the constant pressure to use promoted closet. How about for every single invite that each of us gets, we go pm_editor "closet page" and report spam (tap the 3 dots in upper right). Every one of us do this every single time! If they can ignore that many spam reports every day, we can contact the FTC.

Jan 16Reply

tahnim@13orchids That’s an idea!

Jan 21Reply

cie11e@alexbentley6 lol are you asking for free money? Why'd you send me an offer for this?

Jan 24Reply

Feb 05Reply

alexbentley6@cie11e what an absolutely stupld question. It obviously gets this post traction.

Feb 06Reply

cie11e@alexbentley6 what is "absolutely stupld" is thinking sending a fake offer to someone who already knows about it and then insulting them is what "obviously gets this post traction."

Feb 11Reply

alexbentley6@cie11e it’s gotten tons of traction thanks for your help

Feb 11Reply

move_in_silence@cyclomatic411 this is not what Poshmark is about for buyers, which are the only things keeping this app alive since there are no fees or money paid until a buyer makes a purchase. The pm editor is a garbage sales tool that tricks newbie moronic sellers into thinking they’ll get more “exposure,” and all it does is turn buyer off.

Feb 16Reply

move_in_silence@alexbentley6 they’ve seen it they just don’t care. Which is why Poshmark is dying and other apps are taking its place

mistymonThe only thing worse than the constant bombardment from PM editor are the constant notifications to sell things that I just bought. Hey Poshmark, if we wanted to sell the items we just bought, then we would sell them. Seriously thinking about just closing my account because it's difficult to see comments/questions from my fellow Poshers with all the corporate solicitation coming at me and my sales are way down since the promoted closets took over.

Sep 28Reply

nmyrie83PM Editor is trash 🗑️

Nov 10Reply

rebeccarmaI reported them as spam recently. Maybe if enough people report them an algorithm will make it stop?

Nov 20Reply

irisheyeslaYes, PLEEEAAAAASE make it stop! I turned off ALL push notifications because that PM_editor party garbage kept coming through so I just shut it all off from my phone, but it's all still in the app like it per not so when I log on, I have to scroll through all that garbage clogging up the feed of "news" and notifications I actually care about. It's the worst business practice. If they just MUST send those, at least divide up the feed so I can decide if I want to read them or not.

Dec 12Reply

irisheyeslaAlso, while we're at it, can we create the ability to message a seller with questions? Legit questions go answered forever in the "comment" section - likely because questions got lost in a sea of "party invites" from PM_editor and the seller never saw the notification someone had commented. I won't buy from a seller that doesn't reply to a question because will they actually send the item if they're MIA? @PM_editor should just please go pound sand.

Dec 12Reply

chaolystiYes to all the above

Dec 15Reply

redpoppies44I left the site bc the pm editor. I came back to see if the notices could be stopped but nope. other sites let you choose your interests& it works bc it is less clutter. I cannot find anything on here bc of all the PM editor invites & notices. Even if you filter, it is too much & constant. It makes the site unusable for me. If I purchase from here it is bc i found the item using google & it led to me to poshmark. I have never ever found the PM editor helpful or attended anything bc of it.

Feb 03Reply

dresschickeeThis is so real. This app is literally unusable because they refuse to recognize their app for the use that it actually provides and instead insist on treating it like a social media app. I’m legitimately considering closing my account and reupploading on (another app that they won’t let me include in the comment) because I’m not able to filter through the actually important notifications. I’ve literally turned everything off but notifs for orders and they still show up
