sterlingkittyBy any chance do you have the picture showing the amounts that sellers make if you offer like 10.00 so I can show buyers what reasonable offers actually are?

Sep 11Reply

closetrev@sterlingkitty Hello. Unfortunately I don't. Thank you for stopping by my closet.

hollyaynshobbyThank you so much for taking the time to post tips and suggestions! I am just getting started as a seller and this proves can be confusing. 🤯 I always appreciate when someone doesn't keep the "secrets to success" to themselves. That is the kind of Posher I want to be. 👍❤🌺

Aug 17Reply

closetrev@hollyayn77 you are more than welcome! I like to be in weekly share groups, it makes sure that your items get seen. There's also a FB group called Poshmark sandbox with other tips although they can be a bit time consuming. They recommend adding 3 new listings a day and sharing 2x a day.

Aug 17Reply

kickinitcountryI thought we wasn't supposed to use stock photos. I know a lot of people do but I thought you wasn't actually supposed to. I just want to make sure my post are eligible for a host pic so I want to be careful not to break any rules. 😌

Jan 05Reply

closetrev@kickinitcountry I am not sure if hosts have separate rules, but that tip and photo were taken from poshmark's official tips and tricks, so it's not against poshmark's rules at all! your photos are beautiful as-is though, I don't even think you need a stock photo.

Jan 05Reply

kickinitcountry@closetrev thank you so much for the compliment and for the tips!! 😀

Jan 05Reply

closetrev@kickinitcountry - I checked with some other poshers as you are right! they say of you do use a stock photo it shouldn't be the first one or it won't get picked.

Jan 05Reply

kickinitcountry@closetrev you are so awesome for checking that out for me!!! thank you so much for going that extra mile!! I wasn't sure where to find rules on the host pics or anything like that so I was kind of scared to do just about anything! LOL

Mar 09Reply

sarahs567Thank you so so very much!!! ❤️ You’ve explained a lot I didn’t know!! Question - When there are parties and you share your own closet to the party item only appears once. If that’s the case other sharers listing you’re same items to the party does not help the seller then?? An item from a closet only appears at a party once regardless of. Who or how many times it shared. Can you clarify others sharing my stuff to parties and vice a versa.

Mar 09Reply

sarahs567Question2- When you hit share and search for a person that’s not following you and hit a specific item. It says shared. Does the person get a notice of a share to their closet?

Mar 09Reply

sarahs567Question 3- If your only reaching 1000 followers in your closet daily then what happens to all the rest of the followers? They never see your items again, correct? So it’s best to get sharers that share your stuff and their stuff on a daily basis to only their followers. Sorry for the long text and questions. Being fairly new at Poshing I’m trying to make the most of my time and help others and myself sell efficiently. Again thank you for everything 😘❣️🤗 😇😇😇

Mar 09Reply

marzymLove this!! Thanks for sharing. 😍😍

Mar 09Reply

closetrev@sarahs567 correct! other sellers should only share your items to their followers. items only get shared to a party one time.

Mar 10Reply

closetrev@sarahs567 for question 2 - yes they do get a notification of the share.

Mar 10Reply

closetrev@sarahs567 no worries! yes only the last 1000 see it so it's good to find other sharers and share together. if a closet unfollows and then refollows you, they'll start seeing your items again.

Mar 10Reply

marzymquestion for you...how do you leave a love note?

Mar 11Reply

closetrev@marzym hi! anything you comment in your rating when you receive an item will become a love note. I think it needs to be 5 stars to be public, otherwise only the seller sees it.

Mar 12Reply

stylenuveauThis contains great information!!! Sharing to @jj_pat

Apr 12Reply

queen_ranch@closetrev hey love thank you for tips, may I ask witch app do you use for pics? Thank you ❣️

Apr 20Reply

closetrev@amixkloset hi! my favorite is snapseed.

Apr 20Reply

queen_ranch@closetrev ok I will try that one thank you!

Apr 20Reply

closetrev@amixkloset sure thing! the most useful tool for me in snapseed is the 'selective' button, which brightens or darkens whatever you click on after choosing it. helps a lot with backgrounds.

noooorsclosetThank you great tips!

Jun 20Reply

noooorsclosetThank you for the tips!!! I’m a newbie and I’m trying to understand how share groups work but I’m confused! Can you help explain please? Thank uuuu🤗🤗

Jun 22Reply

closetrev@nourrrrre no problem! when you find a share group there's usually instructions at the top. I don't like to join the complicated ones. the simplest ones just require that you comment with your name to sign up. everyone in the group will share items from every commenter's closet. some groups are daily, weekly, or other time frames.

Jun 22Reply

tamaluedkeThanks for the information. Haven’t been doing very long and this is VERY helpful. BE SAFE!

Jun 22Reply

closetrev@tamaluedke you're very welcome, it can take a little practice to feel like you've got the hang of it. you stay safe too!! ❤️

Jun 22Reply

noooorscloset@closetrev awesome thank you for explaining!!! I will find some simple ones like you said :) xo

Jun 22Reply

shopahoy2Great info!! Thanks for sharing. I didn't know that your shared items only go to your last 1,000 followers!! I guess the main advantage is it moves them up under the search engine. Is that info somewhere hidden deep on the Post website!!!?? I'm going to pass your post on to a friend who I got to do Poshmark, too!

irenecaseQuick question —- are you noticing Posh very slow for the past 3 days ??

Jul 25Reply

closetrev@irenecase I have! it does that sometimes and I'm not sure why. :/ it's faster to share on the desktop site when it does that versus the app.

Jul 25Reply

irenecase@closetrev my laptop is old and super slow ... the app for me is always is always quicker - sales have been 0 for past 3 days with the exception of one yesterday ! ☹️

Jul 25Reply

closetrev@irenecase this was my slowest week in a long time too. i figure people just aren't shopping right now. hopefully next week 😬

Jul 25Reply

irenecase@closetrev ok thought I was doing something wrong. Lol. Here’s to better days ahead 😊💕💐💕♥️💕

Aug 23Reply

01awesomefindsThank you so much for taking the time to share this information. You are very thoughtful!! Can I ask how adding the hashtag helps?

Aug 25Reply

closetrev@lulus1 very welcome! the hashtags help because most shoppers are searching by keyword. I try to include any word that a customer might use to find an item like the one I'm selling.

Aug 25Reply

01awesomefinds@closetrev Thank you again. I didn’t realize using hashtags in the summary description of an item appeared in search engine results. 😀

shoebutton1954Thank you. When you say "key words", do you mean in the item description? or where do you put these "key words" to have the most impact. Also if I might ask you a question, does price have a big factor? is there a magic price point that works best? I wonder if my items are too expensive ? Thank you in advance for any help or advise. I need this.

Jan 18Reply

closetrev@shoebutton1954 Hello. I usually try to include key words of how someone will search in the title. Example: straight leg blue jeans. as for the question regarding price point. It depends on the item. I am thankful when I find a buyer who will appreciate the item as much as I did. I practice no regrets. 🙂 I wish you success.

rebshaw68These tips are worth $1 million. I’m gonna have to go back and do a lot of things and I think I’ve been selling since the end of February! I didn’t even find out till recently that the share button was on the photo itself. I thought you had to enter a post, edit it and then relist it in order for it to be shared! Thank you.❤️😊

May 01Reply

closetrev@rebshaw68 Hi. glad you found it helpful! Thank you.

May 01Reply

rebshaw68@closetrev Actually that’s not true. I only use stock photos unless I can’t find one because I bought many of these items over two years ago. One of my dresses was picked as a host pick during my first month of selling. So, using a stock photo will not prevent you from becoming a host pick, nor like another posher told me, it’s who you know. Obviously I didn’t know anyone! Happy Poshing.

May 01Reply

rebshaw68@closetrev golly I’m sorry I meant thanks again you are awesome!
