Yes, the home section is the newest it’s a little slow to catch on with everyone not being used to it on Posh but I am seeing such fab home Items in closets. You never know what treasures are out there to find! I have so much more to put up for sale but it’s hard to find the time but I will keep working at it. 🥰

terryb101Thanks for the heads up. I never know what the best thing to do is. I have a novice posher question. When someone has multiple likes on items in my closet, should I: 1) make a bundle of their likes for them and submit an offer, 2) make a note to them saying if they are interested, please bundle the items they are interested in so I can make them an offer, or 3) wait for them to make a next move? Thanks for your advice!

jewelrylady2@terryb101 Excellent question you have. Many possible approaches. I sometimes do nothing and hope to get their attention in the future through public price drops or the offer to all likers feature. If it’s 2 related items I have created a bundle for them and sent an offer price. Can’t say this has had much luck with generating a sale. I haven’t tried sending a note asking them to make an offer. I kind of don’t think that would work too well but I haven’t tried it.

I’ve done all 3 - created bundles, bundled and made an offer and sent a polite note. Just inform the would be buyer there is no pressure to accept as not the scare them away. Hope this helps! I am also figuring out I think that if you do private offer to likers one day and the next day or days later you want to do a public price drop during closet clear out for the redo shipping it looks like posh gave you reduced shipping but when the buyers go to buy they don’t get the discount eleven when posh sent them a message offering the reduced shipping.

jewelrylady2@lydiadan1 This post only applies to buyers who have liked an item. For example, if the buyer sends an offer and you make a counteroffer they may decline the counteroffer but that will prevent them from receiving any future price drop offers. So it’s better for a buyer to ignore the offer rather than decline it. At least that’s my understanding 😆😉😘

I recently put in an offer for a pair of sneakers that someone has priced way above market, they countered and I declined. I then decided to do another offer but it says I’m unable to make an offer 😭 here I thought the seller just blocked me

jewelrylady2@buckeyefanoh Hmmm I am not sure about offers. I have had cases where if you make an offer and the seller ignores it or if I made too many offers it won’t let me make any other offers. It also is possible they blocked you. Hmm if they did block you, you probably can’t add a comment on a different item in their closet. Try that, if you can’t leave a comment then I think they may have blocked you. Hope this helps ☺️

deliskaI like this if I'm understanding it correctly. I've had poshers like my items and as always, I send out an offer. Most poshers will either accept my offer, counter, or just let it expire. If they're not going to accept my offer, I completely understand that, but I'd rather them just let my offer expire, (if not going to purchase) bc there's just something about declining it that just seems rude to me, lol.

egatnivHi, there was a lot of great information in your comment feed. I did not get to read the whole feed but I thought I might add a comment in just incase it may help someone else out on the subject. Most of us sellers have experienced receiving the pop up message telling us we have maxed out the # of times allowed to send a offer to a interested buyers bundle. Simply remove 1 or 2 of their items from the bundle and then add them back to the bundle. wallah, send your offer.

egatniv@jewelrylady2 I do like your listing regarding the problem incase it hasnt been resolved. Let me ask you a question though regarding the last app update. I am experiencing an issue that I am not liking at all. When I am sharing items from my own closet or other poshers closets, it is sending the share at a very slow pace. This is making it very time consuming and frustrating. Have you been experiencing this? I wasn't sure if it was just mine or the update itself. Thanks 😊

jewelrylady2@egatniv Hmmmm… I hadn’t noticed any speed change but I will try sharing later today and let you know if I notice anything. I have an issue that when I try to “like” items it doesn’t save my like if I do it when I have just that listing open. I have to do it from the main closet or search page to get the like to save.

cybertwin1what about the sellers who decline your offer and then immediately remove the listing..thats so odd and silly..or the sellers who counter your off then you counter and they decline then you offer thier last counter offer and they dont reply or remove the listing.I think alot of poshers have mental illness.

cybertwin1@jewelrylady2 yes I know that that is possible but let sellers hear delete immediately after they decline my offer, which is weird, or I come back to a counter offer from the seller that matched with they countered me only minutes ago, and they delete the listing, and when I try to contact him to say hey, where did that go? I was just gonna give you what you wanted no response.

cybertwin1I seriously think there’s a lot of people that sell on Poshmark that are mentally unstable and they are just too tired to their stuff. Emotionally and many are probably still using the items and really don’t want to sell them. This is my take away from various situation. I’ve had my point is if you’re going to sell you have to release your emotional tie to it

cybertwin1I will also add that people have to realize that even if there’s stuff they’re selling is meant or never worn or worn once, etc. it’s still a used item and I think a lot of people just think their stuff is worth what it was new to them which again brings me back to my emotional tie to these things instead of letting them go and moving them on I mean I collect sunglasses and I always have for many years and that’s mostly what I sell on my site

I don’t want stuff to see it for six months to me that’s crazy and I think my prices are fair and I’m willing to negotiate sure if somebody offers me $10 on $100 item I just get back with them and make an offer that I feel is reasonable and many times they never respond. gravesem8@sorryhowmuch they actually will get notified of future offers, as long as the offer is 10% below the previous offer.... or it can be the same offer, but only after 90 days. And the same is true for both declining it or ignoring it But if they "unlike" the item, that's when they will no longer receive offers- unless the offer is sent as a one item bundle offer 😊

edb18@ambie_g It depends on the situation and the buyer or seller. Some buyers don't want to communicate no matter how polite I am. They make an offer, I counter and they decline. I try to communicate, but no response.

The whole point of negotiating is to come to some sort of agreement where buyer and seller get something out of the sale. If it’s not working, simply say “no.” It’s simple communication skills. Haha.
