Please explain waist measure-is that from one side to other and then double? Hip measure?

@spikey109 hello! The waist measurement that I have listed is where the lacing is. But I measured the hips and they are 16” across. And yes, doubled. 😊 It also has a lot of stretch for extra room if needed.
