Luna is our red heeler (she'll be 3 in November) and we got Ayla, our blue heeler, a year ago (she turned 1 in April ♡) and it absolutely was the best decision we've ever made. They are the best of frannns 🥰 And they keep each other company and are both high energy, as you know, so having one another really helps a lot. We rescued both of them when they were 9 and 7 weeks old. They are our world 🌎 ❤

Luna is my ride or die and was with me for a year and a half & my neighbor had gotten an Aussie and Luna took her under her wing and basically taught her all the dog basics & it was so special but then I had to move a few blocks over so it wasn’t as simple as letting Luna out to play anymore. After 5 long months I decided to give her a permanent sister and after some adjusting they became best friends.

dazedhoney @rysespieces Zoey is super ditzy and Luna is kinda timid and Alpha at times so the fact that zoey doesn’t care to snap her out of her moods is so helpful. Zoey doesn’t care if Luna doesn’t wanna play she’ll basically force her & doesn’t pick up on social cues which normally would be a bad thing but in this case they suit each other really positively!!! I’m so lucky and grateful

girlslikeus28 @superfurmomma 💕💕. I get it! My Tudi was stung by a bee last Friday in her paw. I was so upset. I soaked her foot in epsom salt in cool water. Gave her Zyrtec per vet. Gave her some favorite treats and covered her with a blanket since AC was on. Didn’t want her to get cold 😩🥰😂24 hours later she was chasing rabbits again. 👍🏻Pauline 💋

dazedhoney @pparis181 a dog can have a timid temperament based on their personal genetics or upbringing/past but overall Australian shepherds are very confident fun dogs. This is Luna she’s have aussie half border collie and she is timid but I think it’s more just her personality and other half of her mix. I have zoey whos 3, she’s a full bred aussie and she’s extremely bubbly and ditzy. But some dogs can be so happy that they’re hard to train because they don’t understand doing wrong.

I can’t afford to do the same but do supplement by adding cooked chicken & veggies (crockpot, plain) to their meals. I wanted to name my rottie Zoey but she took to Cupcake. When I camp in East Texas in rancher land, u can bet I don’t use that name! LOL

dazedhoney @letshangout You could also use the leftover chicken broth to add to their dry food too if you don’t already! That’s what I do for half their meals to add more hydration to their foods. I’ve heard bone broth is really good for their joint and skin health. I’ll also feed them boiled potatoes with a bit of nutritional yeast (they love the Smokey flavor and it’s low sodium) and that’s a really cheap meal I’ll do a few times a week

dazedhoney @letshangout You can discard the bones!!! They’ll splinter but you could feed them raw and give them those. But when you boil a chicken with its bones you can use whats leftover because it has a lot of benefits and my dogs love the flavor it adds to their food. They’ll sometimes not even eat their dry food so it helps with their appetite for when I don’t have the time or food prepped

They pop out really easily unlike plastic trays and have all different sizes. I saw them on shark tank originally and immediately bought some lol. It makes warming things up and portioning them really easily!
