Does the laptop slide in length wise or width? Do you feel that the material is secure enough for a laptop. How long Is the strap. Thank you.

@susie999 The laptop fits in width wise. The strap is approximately 30" long and adjustable. The thickness of the laptop and folders would start to bulge if over 2 -2.25" thick.
