How does this necklace clasp in the back?

@e3yoga Hi π Clasp is a macrame clasp . It adjust the necklace so you can wear it short or long . You can see the clasp in picture number 5 π there is two dangly string on the back and you just pull on the string to adjust it

what is the shortest this necklace can be? what type of material is the horn made from?

@tracyd85614 Silver plated pendant . Shortest is 16 inch ( when it is close ) if you need shorter i can adjust that . Take out a couple beads on back and remake the macrame knot on back
