Lovely vintage sparkling cluster earrings from the late 40's-early 50's. Late Art Deco style. About 1" across, clip on style. All stones present and bright. Marked Laguna and in excellent condition for their age!

debrasattire These look like Aurora Borealis, is a tradename used to describe a kind of finish added to crystal beads. Developed by Swarovski 1950s. Forever innovating their manufacturing processes to improve the quality of their crystals, they discovered a technique to increase radiance and sparkle. Crystals are coated with a thin layer of metal, which is then vaporized in a vacuum, leaving behind a shimmering rainbow finish. Named after the spectacular play of the northern light.
