cynalcornWell, I think if you lay the tape measure across like from 0" across the top (not wrapped under) so it measures from one end to the other. That would work. Thanks so much!

cynalcornI actually want them but can't honestly tell if they'll work. Not to be a pest, but I just don't wanna buy and they not fit. If top of boot is laying flat, put the measuring tape on floor directly above to measure from starting point - it looks curved around the left side of the boot and I cannot tell what it'll be. If you are certain 8.5" across, that's a 17" circum and my calves are 18". :(
