My background & experience working outdoors, on my feet day & night, in male dominated professions—such as Wrangling & Law Enforcement—I became educated & passionate about boots, in part, due to necessity. My frustration grew over the years while constantly on the hunt for quality, functional boots, for women, in my size, that were at least somewhat attractive. On the rare occasion those boxes were ticked, the personal assistance needed to determine things like fit, was nonexistent. Being that I don’t resonate well doing things “the way they’ve always been done”—I much prefer to think outside the box—& seeing that there was this need that was not being met, Botablu was born.
