Never used Dark Chocolate Brown Leather with nylon. Front and back, straps and trim are a nice buttery soft Leather and the bottom and ends are a durable nylon type of material. The metal is silver. The inside is also a chocolate brown and has one zip pocket and two other pockets. It also has a "smartlyte" see last pic that doesn't work - might need a new battery.

suzi_n@geminijan66 you can see it in last pic. It's a light that comes on when the magnetic closure opens, I'm guessing to help see purse contents. It never worked and I can only guess it might be a dead battery.
