Classy 1950's swing style coat 21.5” pit to pit 100% cashmere body, honey mini fur collar, silly satin interior lining. Only flaw is a small light discomforting on the inside of the lining(pictured) Has a cute beaded appliqué, not original but added most likely in the 70s. Can fit a range of sizes from xs-m depending on how you want it to hang.

lucky_badger I typically wear a US size 6-8. Do you have an idea for how this coat may fit someone in that range?

danikas_closet_ @lucky_badger I am typically a size 8 US and it fits just a little loose on me, not too much to wear it doesn't look good cause it is a swing coat style. If youre closerbtoba 6 though it might be a bit big. I can add a photo of me in the coat when I get home from work if you'd like

danikas_closet_ @mrsjw the fur is in really good condition! No balding spots or cracks, feels very soft and lush. Awesome! I'll make sure to post one when I get home

vfawkes @danikas_closet_ Thanks for your offer. If I wanted to remove the appliqué, do you think that could be done with a seam ripper without damaging the rest of the coat’s fabric?

danikas_closet_ @vfawkes I will add a photo of the applique to the listing so you can see. it'd be very easy to take off(it's actually already coming unstitched) looks like the previous owner may have glued and stitched the applique on so it would take a little combing to get the mohair under the applique to look like the rest of the coat
