glamourgurl7 @adazeobazee all of the vintage Chanel bags are 24k gold plated. The flap will stay down but the center part that turns to close it is separate . I saved all the pieces but I think the leather surgeons replace it. If you would like to contact them before you trade maybe they will tell you? 🤷🏻‍♀️
