Hi! I'm Joni. Thanks for stopping by! I am just starting out with a few things...not sure what the future holds.😄 Feel free to leave me a comment so that I can check out your closet too. :) A little about me. In my past life I designed and created pet apparel and jewelry. My sweet “Yoda” was my model and the love of my life. He traveled to pet heaven in 2010.♥️ I now pet sit as I love dogs and it gives me a chance to feel the joy from their goodness. There’s no human relationship like it.🐶♥️🐶

denimdaisy@joni725 Thanks so much for your shares! I just love these pictures of your precious Shih Tzu. 💕 I'm a total shih tzu lady. The story touches my heart. We lost our male shih tzu last April to lung cancer-it was very sudden. Your shih is with our little boy up there, playing in doggy heaven🥰

Feb 25Reply

joni725@denimdaisy Hi Katie...thank you for sharing as well. My heart goes out to you. Losing your pet is so painful. Yoda was the love of my life and I had him for 13 years. Those years meant everything to me as I’m sure you feel the same. It’s been 10 years since I put him to sleep (he developed a heart condition) and I still cry sometimes when I’m looking at his picture. Shih Tzu dogs are the best! Let’s hope all the dogs that have passed are there for each other with love.❤️🐶❤️🌺❤️🐶❤️

Feb 25Reply

denimdaisy@joni725 ♡♡ So glad you get to see furry friends when dogsitting. Dogs are so easy - they just love you & want pats & snacks. If only people could be as easy as dogs, the world would be a better place💕

Feb 25Reply

joni725@denimdaisy I so agree with you. I’ll take a dog any day😂 It’s the best job in the world!👍❤️

Feb 26Reply

denimdaisy@joni725 Amen to that! 😂😂As a full time Posher, my little shih tzu rescue Stella , who I just got last July, is my little helper. She follows me around while I list. Thank goodness-it would be a very lonely job without her company!

Feb 26Reply

joni725@denimdaisy Give Stella a hug and kiss for me! 🤗💋 Happy and successful poshing (as they say).😄

Feb 27Reply

denimdaisy@joni725 I absolutely will♡♡. Have a wonderful evening, Joni!🥰🌸

Feb 27Reply

Apr 12Reply

joni725@carlsonduo Aaah... Shih Tzus are the best. Yoda died 2010 and I miss him terribly. I feel lucky to have had him for 13 years. He was my pal and my model until he wasn’t. Do you have a male or female and how old?

sassywestonI have three dogs!!! They are our furry children!!!

Sep 20Reply

joni725@sassyweston Hi Give your pups a hug and kiss for me. Dogs give us more than we can ever give them. I lost Yoda in 2010 and think about him every single day. It took me a year to stop crying but still have my days. I wasn’t able to get another dog because of my circumstances. I do feel that rescuing a dog rather than buying one from a breeder is humane thing to do so if I had been able that would have been my choice. Enjoy every day with your pups. I wish everybody felt like you and I do.♥️

Sep 20Reply

sassyweston@joni725 ty all three of mine are rescue pups!

chiangning8I know exactly how you feel, Shih-Tzu are the most wonderful thing in this world ! My last Shih-Tzu left me to heaven in 2008, my life just couldn’t continue..I almost went with him.

Dec 12Reply

joni725@chiangning8 ...I am so sorry. The loss is beyond words and I know exactly how you felt. I will never truly get over missing Yoda and my heart will always be with him. He gave me so much more than I gave him. I hope you are better now and you are able to feel the memories without the pain. Thank you for reaching out and I hope your Holidays are joyful.

Dec 12Reply

chiangning8@joni725 Miracle does happen! 2 months after he left me I found and adopted one that looks exactly like him! ( see Posh photo), and he was a puppy when I found him, I truly believe he received my deeply pain and found a way to come back save me... Now he is almost 13 yr old, I pray the day would delay or never come.. for now I spend all my time to be with him and enjoy the precious moments.. I hope Yoda come back to you too !have a very Merry Christmas 🎄

bettyboopertooThanks for following me - just visited your closet and shared. Hope you’ll do the same. I remember Westerley - spent a weekend there in the ‘70s on my days off from working in a camp in Gilman, CT for special needs kids. Loved it! 😃😃 Betty

May 26Reply

joni725@bettyboopertoo Hi there… Thank you for following and sharing my closet as well. Certainly I will do the same for you. I moved to Westerly 6 years ago from Western Mass. Many many moons ago when I was in high school my friends and I used to come here. Little did I know I would end up moving here in my 60s. I feel very lucky... I live in a small apartment right down the street from the beach.😃⛱🤗

May 27Reply

bettyboopertoo@joni725 that’s wonderful. We were able to retire here 2 years ago - just 4 miles from the ocean with lots of preserves in between - filled with deer and other inhabitants of nature. While we have a small gator in the lake out our patio, we’re not deterred - so much beauty - so much nicer after living in the greater Fort Lauderdale area for 47 years! 😃😃

May 27Reply

joni725@bettyboopertoo It sounds lovely! I know a few people who are snowbirds. Florida is a pretty state with lots to do. We are lucky we live near the ocean and I never take it for granted!🤗⛱🌞

Dec 02Reply

joni725@1sumrgrl Aaah thank you Kathy. My pup “Yoda” gave me 13 years of pure joy, love, and happiness. I miss him every day! He was the best pup ever! Your kitty is beautiful! I grew up with cats as my mom was a cat lover. We had some wonderful cats… animals of all kinds make this world a better place!💕

Dec 02Reply

1sumrgrl@joni725 They definitely do! I had my calico girl for 14 years. We lost her 2 years ago and I still miss her every day. She was an absolute delight!

karenkamikazi@joni725 awwww…. I loved reading your story, I too am an animal lover. The pictures of Yoda are so cute and the memories are special.💕 I currently have a Labradoodle name, Murphy, if you take a look at my closet, you will see a picture of him, he is like a big brown teddy bear.❤️❤️

fashionbygsbGood morning - I am having a holiday sale. 30% off one item or 50% off bundle. Happy Holiday Shopping! I also just loooovvvvveee your fur baby.

Dec 21Reply

joni725@karen_alkemeyer Hi Karen …Yoda owned my heart and the memories are sweet with a touch of sadness that he’s not here anymore. Been 10 years and still think about him a lot. I wasn’t able to see your pup on your page. Labradoodles are adorable. It’s funny how big dogs still think they’re small and crave sleeping in someone’s lap. Yes, the tanks we’re painted by me.😊

Dec 22Reply

joni725@fashionbygsb Aaah thank you!😊

Dec 22Reply

karenkamikazi@joni725 I am two months into building my closet, but he should be in the pictures if you click on listing meet the posher I am still learning to add graphics, and what not to my page, but he’s laying beside me now in bed, all 105 pounds! Enjoy the rest of your evening, my new friend!

meliss694I started tearing up reading about your Yoda - made me think of my Daisy, a Maltese who just passed away last year 🥹. That is very cool that you designed pet products. Wishing you lots of success on Poshmark!

Dec 01Reply

joni725@meliss694 Thank you for reaching out Melissa. We always feel the empathy for another pet parent who has lost their beloved best friend. Yoda will hold my heart forever and after 13 years I still miss him every day. I am so sorry you are going through the pain of losing your sweet Maltese. It does get easier with time and the memories are definitely a comfort. Enjoy your PoshMark experience!💕
