Is this a more jean material? Rather than leggings. And is it a black?

@alexisnekaala they are more of a jean material but do have a lot of flex in them compared to normal denim. The color is a shadowy black-blue hue (you can find a full description of the color on the James Jeans website). Thanks for your interest!
