saintmoon@glenn1313 yes I understand you’re basing you’re value off retail as I used to as well, but the reality (as I learned the hard way with my Like New beautiful Celine mini with amber wings) is that Celine simply does not hold its value. Of course, neither does balenciaga or Chloe the way Chanel or Hermès would, which is why I use the sites I mentioned to do comparison pricing. Do you want to look around a bit, pick a bag and then maybe give me a cash value difference you’d be comfortable with?

saintmoon@killakimm_ The Chloé on fashionphile is listed as "scratched and pitted" hence the price :\ This bag recently sold for $1,600 after tax on The RealReal, where the Celine Phantom in Croc recently sold for $1,750 after tax (you can search Chloe Blue Studded and Celine Embossed Phantom on there). Also, you can search Ludlow Wallet and see that the Damier Vernis averages $325... I think the trade is fair as is :\
