bidemi82 @msuslina Nope, they try to make u buy from them outside Poshmark, they send you their phone number so u can communicate with them outside Poshmark, they make u send them money through Western union outside posh, once they receive the money they won’t send your item. Then they go back on Poshmark and block you. I feel victim here on Poshmark.

carmela072003 No matter how tempting it is, don’t go offline to give them free money. There’s no recourse after you lose it. These people do this for a living, & they know what to do to get you hooked. Even local police will not look into it for lack of their resources to go after online scams. Once these scammers get what they want, they completely disappear. 🤐😭😤

jianna710 @bidemi82 this exact thing just happened to me, woman claimed to be just moving to cali and in “law” just finished law school. sent her money, she messed with my head for about 3-4 days and changed her number or it was a burner phone. we’re these people claiming to be be Emma or anything starting with a E? and lived in california and moved from florida??

carmela072003 @jianna710 — it’s sad that Poshmark can’t do anything about them either, even though it’s their platform scammers use to scam people. It’s such a hard and expensive lesson to learn. Compared to Facebook, Poshmark is very laxed against counterfeiting, and scamming.

carmela072003 @jianna710 — no, they opened a brand new Poshmark account probably with even a fake profile photo. They used the name Jessica Rileyz. They deleted their account, and then blocked my phone number.

sandra1dz Thanks for the heads up. Beware also of these sellers asking to buy on Apple Pay or Zelle. Its not legit. I was trying to buy this purse n the person kept insisting I use Applepay to give me a discount. I was like nope if you can't do that here on Poshmark then bye! Mama didnt raise no fool.

tifoumarou It happened too; I sent them the money through $1300 off Poshmark for two bags( Louis Vuitton, and Gucci) .pochmark said that there is nothing they can do about it since it was offline.
