coffeylove hard to tell on site but once you receive you can tell. the quality of box, and plastic are 1st 2 hints. box usually opens a certain way for products, the markinging on box and back of compact. also the fake powder will appear smooth as soon as you swipe a couple times the surface will look bumpy or gritty. real mac will always stay smooth in pressed compact. you can go on utube. there are makeup artists that will show a real and fake side by side and go over every detail...
