posh_princesss@sstrong18 unfortunately I do not have the original receipt but tag on the actual scarf indicates it’s authenticity! It is an original Burberry tag that was used before the 2000s! It was purchased by my mother at the Burberry store in NYC years ago

seanstockOMG, I authenticate Burberry for a vintage store in New York. Some people are idiots. Burberrys changed in 1998 to Burberry so the tag is correct if it is older than 1998. Also, the blue tags of a certain hue were reserved for Lambswool and Lambswool mix scarves (the exception being scarves sold in Japan only where a Cashmere scarf could have a blue label). So, everything looks good so far. However, I am concerned about the tag, but since this is not cashmere it could be authentic.

seanstock@posh_princesss I will however say that I usually authenticate cashmere scarfs, the label is incorrect (for cashmere, wrong stitching) for that and the location is atypical. So I can't vouch for its 100% authenticity just that the other comments about the scarf were wrong.
