vintageyeye@arsbars i also saw the posts from ashleynicholey above. I also got scammed by someone who falsely claimed I sent them "an old purse" instead of the sweater I sent. Now I take photos of me sending items in 3 stages from wrapping to sealing item. It was awful. As a seller you have no protection. Fortunately PM took the hit: i got paid but they refunded her the amount AND she kept the sweater!

dragonbogeys@arsbars thanks for being understanding. I was in a car accident in which someone didn't see me and hit me while trying to make a u-turn. I tore all the ligaments in my right wrist, which leaves me with a right arm that shakes constantly. I can't even put my earrings in without my husband helping me on bad days. Also herniated four discs in my neck which just hurts forever. A few other little things from the accident that I won't bore you with.

dragonbogeys@arsbars in short, I can't work full time as per doctors orders, but the state says I'm not injured enough for disability. So I work 20 hours a week and do this in my spare time. I can't imagine what you go through everyday, though!

arsbarsOMG... Poor thing! It's so uncanny BC my fibro causes me pain in the exact same areas as you!!! 🙀 we have parallel pain: my neck, right shoulder and right leg mostly. My right shoulder pain was so bad that after Cat scans, MRIs, chiros, neurologists, and so on, I just had to get a cortisone shot! It helped relieve about 60% of my pain. Now I can put my bra on without my hubby's help! The worst thing is the neck pain BC they cause frequent excruciating migraines. 😖😖😖

dragonbogeysOh, yes the freaking migraines. Those are like the icing on the cake along with everything else! So weird we have the same sort of pain in the same areas!! I get the leg thing occasionally, but mostly neck and shoulders and arm. I had a concussion as well and that's really messed me up. I forget words in the middle of sentences all the time, can't do math in my head anymore (not that I was good at it before, lol), and I have absolutely no attention span. I feel you!

I truly believe the few men who've fought for PM rights are ones who feel it's unfair they can't sell like the rest of their peer fashionistas. They're allowed to join&buy, but cannot sell their own items? Yes, we might get some riffraff, but all we do is shun them from our community. I open my arms to equality & tolerance in any arena, whether it's voting or fashion, politics or perfume... period👬👫👬

Other groups have their own platforms that exclude others like the naacp, most scholarships, etc... it wad just nice to go somewhere (virtually) that was for women only and a few upstanding guys. It’s important to explore closets & share as often as you can. ❤️Posh etiquette suggests they should share back, so that’s more exposure; more followers = more exposure. Join “follow games.” 🛍I share most on weekends & weeknights. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do is offer excellent customer service. A great package, a clean & exact item, the better your ratings. That’s the first thing I do before I ever buy anything!

All the tissue, ribbons and TY cards are from the $ store! 🎁I almost always include a small gift w/ purchase that in some way matches the item they’re purchasing/their style preferences. There’s a LOT of other things you can do as you learn and grow your closet, but it’ll just take time. Be patient, be exposed and be honest. I hope this helps some! Also, something that helps is temporary “price drops” only shown to poshers who’ve already “liked” your item already. It also helps to look for similar items as your own closet to compare prices and make sure you’re offering a good bargain compared to others- does that make sense?

arsbars@meisch1234 Thank you so much❣️ My condition has now turned into Polymyalgia.... I’m now on both Cymbalta and Lyrica, which is the best combination for me. I’ve tried every cream under the sun, including Voltaren. I believe the mold in the ceilings where I live is exacerbating my condition and pain, but they keep saying there’s no mold. 😿 I’ve met a lot of other sufferers here on PM and it has helped me realize that I’m not alone.
