If there was a large I would say go for it, but between a S and a XL there is a big gap. Yes, measurements would be your best bet here.

@loveyogapants. It is a plus size. On the tag that came hanging on it says XXL but the small tag on it says 2XL. I really don't know if there is any difference. I will add a picture of what I am talking about. Not sure if I am able to edit while there is an offer on it. Will try it now.
