A little something for everyone! I had a business that was forced closed due to Covid in 3/2020. Poshmark became vital. Have a creative kid and a dog-like cat. Originally started Poshing to support our son’s expensive dream of being an actor/rockstar. Now I do it full time while we pivot our regular livelihood through the endemic. I offer same or next day shipping! Smoke-free home. Most stuff stored before we adopted our cat. She’s kept out of my Posh room. Poshing takes much time & energy so please be respectful when making offers. Happy Poshing!

rosepetals3Thanks for the follow! I love your closet✨

Jan 12Reply

avenueposh@rosepetals3 Thanks! I like yours too! I can’t believe I have so much stuff. 😄 Or that I’m old enough that much of it is considered “vintage”!! 😂

Jan 20Reply

angeldwctc1Wow beautiful couple!!! I'm new at Poshmark do you suggest selling outside of Poshmark???

Jan 31Reply

avenueposh@angeldwctc1 thanks! No, I actually prefer when my stuff sells here. They don’t charge a fee to transfer to the bank. The other platform I sell on takes a fee for that which is annoying. I’ve done well here in the short time (3.5 mo) I’ve been a seller here. I strictly bought prior to October 2017. Good luck!

Jan 31Reply

angeldwctc1Thank you

Jan 31Reply

blinghillYour closet is my dream closet. One of my favorites on Poshmark. Beautiful dresses. I will be back to raid your closet when I make a few more sales. BlingHill

Feb 11Reply

avenueposh@blinghill Thank you! That was such a nice thing to say!! At least all my spending on dresses I’ll never wear or wore once isn’t all for naught 😄😂 My husband said to me a few years ago- “Who do you think you are- Beyonce? You wear it once, it’s on fb and then you can never wear it again??” 😂 I just love dresses and gowns & the places they have the potential to go in my head...🎉

Feb 11Reply

blinghill@tsdk74 Well, I feel that your husband is a very lucky man to have found such a stunning, classy, and well dressed lady. 😇

Feb 12Reply

lady7328Awesome dresses (that i will never ever fit I to) but they are great to share.

Mar 04Reply

avenueposh@lady7328 thank you! You never know...I’ve been everything from a 2 to a 14. 😄

Mar 04Reply

lady7328@tsdk74 Awww. Thank you for sharing that. I would have never known that either. 💕

Mar 05Reply

nataliecynthia@tsdk74 😍 beautiful closet ♥️

Mar 08Reply

avenueposh@nataliecynthia Thank you! Appreciate the positive validation of all my spending & hanging on to it all! 😄

Mar 08Reply

nataliecynthia@tsdk74 😂😂😂 right!?!?! I have a closet and dresser just for my posh stuff. We have problems! But at least we’re not alone 😅✌🏼

Mar 08Reply

nataliecynthia@tsdk74 and thank you for the shares! Very much appreciated 💋💋💋

Mar 08Reply

avenueposh@nataliecynthia A closet & a dresser? :::whispers::: Uh, try the whole finished attic. It’s all clothing racks and plastic storage bins.... 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦‍♀️ My husband now calls himself my “shipping clerk” because if someone purchases at night I have him take to the post office on his way to work in the morning.

Mar 08Reply

nataliecynthia@tsdk74 😂😂😂 omg! LOVE IT!!!

Mar 08Reply

southern19721Thank you for the follow! I greatly appreciate it! Have a fabulous day!

Mar 18Reply

sea4emmLove. Love your low ball chart.... Happy Easter! ⚘

Apr 01Reply

avenueposh@michelet1972 I just saw this- no problem and thanks- you too!

Apr 01Reply

avenueposh@perazam Thanks! I used a few of the charts from other Posh-ers. I’m not good with math 🤦‍♀️ so I refer to it myself a lot. 😄 I’m not always sure how bad I’m being lowballed w/out a chart. Of course when it’s $15 on $61, I KNOW! I used to take it personally. Now I just chuckle & think “you must be JOKING”. I just keep countering with my same lowest number I’m willing to go as long as they want to play! I don’t celebrate Easter but I’ll take the candy! So thank you & you too! 🤗😄

Apr 01Reply

sea4emm@tsdk74 well, I think a newby like me flips out of her chair, with shortness of breath... e specially because i didnt know to buy super chip, i bough from the store on my credit card.... and then i get offers that dont even cover my cost 🤤 I now know what to do , learning every day. A month taught me a few things... Thank you again, have a great weekend 😊👍⚘

Apr 01Reply

avenueposh@perazam oh, I see- you bought stuff to resell on your card for too high $. Ugh. I also learned a lot in a few months. Fortunately or unfortunately, almost everything I have up for sale is from my own stuff 🤦‍♀️, or husband/son. Some is my BFF’s- like the “intimates”. But I don’t buy to resell. I just used to hoard. 😄 Or hope I was going to fit into stuff again. 😂

Apr 01Reply

avenueposh@perazam and PS- just got offered $5 on $12. #wishitwasfunny #wtf 😳🙄🤯🤦‍♀️

Apr 01Reply

sea4emm@tsdk74 I did 😢 I do have plenty to add from my own but I thought it didn't sell as much. So. I thought new staff would get me going faster. Lol. I was a shoppoholic so, I can work with that. Taking a lot back. Thanks for letting me vent 😊

Apr 01Reply

sea4emm@tsdk74 😐 sorry ...

Apr 01Reply

avenueposh@perazam Vent anytime! You can never really know what’s going to sell. Stuff I thought would go fast sits and weird stuff like my old gap overalls from college in 94 were snapped right up. My son’s old shoes sell like mad. No rhyme or reason to what sells. I had people fighting over old underwear. It’s fascinating.

Apr 01Reply

May 03Reply

avenueposh@beach_styles Hey there 🙂 It wasn’t me- it was a buyer of mine. I think she hit reply to you instead of me because after her question she bought what she was asking about. But thanks for checking in! Great closet 🤗

heatflashinBeautiful family, great comments and I’m especially in love with your cat, which looks exactly like my (late beloved) adopted Lila Belle that got attacked by a dog. She was sassy and posed like that too, lol!

Jul 18Reply

avenueposh@heatflashin thank you! My cat is nuts- she’s like a dog. She needs to be on top of us 24/7! I can’t do anything without her underfoot! I keep all my posh stuff in our finished attic where she isn’t allowed to go. When I go up there she practically throws herself at the door meowing like someone is stepping on her tail until I come down. 🤦‍♀️😄

Jul 18Reply

heatflashin@tsdk74 😂🙀😾😍 They each have their unique personalities for sure!

gypsythrift22Browsing your organized closet was a pleasure. My son is on the large end of what you have available, but I may still pick up a few pieces. I just wanted to let you know you are doing a great job. Most kids clothes closets are a jumbled mess and tedious to sort through, by organizing huts by size, I was able to quickly find the items that might work for us. 🦋

Oct 04Reply

avenueposh@gypsythrift22 thanks! 😂 I’ve been organizing by size for the past hour and a half! It was organized that way but got out of order recently for a few stupid reasons. No ones ever mentioned it so I didn’t think anyone was caring or noticing. But I’m OCD like that- that’s why I don’t do CCO because it makes my stuff out of order 😂😂

Mar 01Reply

2muchstuff3691Glad we connected on Poshmark! Hope you’ll check out my closet and give me a follow 😘💕❤️

Mar 04Reply

avenueposh@jesspri they’re samples from my friend who used to be a lingerie designer for VS & others. She saved them, then moved & is now coming across bags of them. Some have tags, some don’t, some were bought as inspiration for another line. She doesn’t have time to do Poshmark so she asked me to do it for her. I wont list those without tags as NWT since technically there is no tag, but to my knowledge they are not worn. Most have just been in storage for years. Hope that helps!

Mar 21Reply

avenueposh@lisasparks653 thanks for looking/liking! Browse any time. I am OCD about keeping it organized because there are just too many items. When they get out of order I get confused with my own sharing. It’s really a pain not to be able to drag/drop. I would share to more parties if we could - I don’t always do it because then I’d have to share a whole section & don’t always have time for that! I used to have so many events to dress up for but in recent years the clothes just sit & take up space

Mar 28Reply

Dec 07Reply

debrynHi! Great closet! You must have a big Posh room! I have couple hundred listings and can’t keep track of it all, lol. But you have over a thousand listings!! Wowza!! Came to your closet bc I love Vintage Havana stuff, saw your listing header and wanted to see all your VH items but couldn’t find them...😞 I’ll check back again soon, happy poshing!

Dec 10Reply

avenueposh@debryn hi! I think I have like 5-6 vintage Havana items. You have to go to the filter thing at the top and look it up. But maybe I don’t have in your size and when you filter it automatically goes to what you have in the “my size” area.

Dec 10Reply

avenueposh@debryn or if you scroll under that header they should be there. Not IN that actual post but after/following it

Dec 10Reply

avenueposh@debryn I just looked- I have M, L, XL right now in vintage Havana. 😊

Dec 10Reply

debrynYes! Found them! 🥰😁😭

Dec 11Reply

avenueposh@debryn oh good. I have those headers because with such a big closet, it’s the only way I can keep myself organized. 🤦‍♀️

Wanted to let u know that out of all the footwear I've bought in last couple yrs and I'm talking 18 pair of boots:sneakers, you are the ONLY one who knows how to tie footwear. avenueposh@kimandreadis Thank you & Welcome to Poshmark!🎉 Good luck with all your buys & sells 🛍 just remember to bundle your likes if you want multiple items from one closet- then you only have to pay one shipping. If you have any questions, just ask 🙂 I have women’s/men’s/kid’s items in my closet- it’s good to have something for everyone. Lastly, reading the Poshmark guidelines will be very helpful to have the best experience possible. Enjoy the community & Happy Poshing! 🤗

nicolesherwoodThe time zone photo is so funny! Thanks for the follow! I work in music in Nashville so I know how expensive/exhausting it can be! Tell your son to hang with it - it will all be worth it 💙

Feb 03Reply

avenueposh@nicolesherwood thanks! It’s funny- he’s never been to Nashville but he’s obsessed with going there someday! He has no fall back plan so maybe you’ll see him there 😄

Feb 03Reply

nicolesherwood@avenueposh let me know! I work for a label would love to help with advice in any way I can

Feb 03Reply

avenueposh@nicolesherwood well check him out on insta if you get a chance- he’ll be happy for any words of wisdom. You’ll find him at ethankulemusic - thank you! ♥️

from_stonebriarThank you for visiting my closet and sharing! I appreciate the collab. You have some beautiful things, so I shared a few that remind me spring is around the corner in New England. Cheers and happy Poshing!

Feb 19Reply

katj202Hi. You welcomed me to posh recently. I’m so impressed with your closet! It’s amazing! I wanted to ask if you feel sharing on social media helped sales? I don’t have social media but would love your advice. I have about 1000 items to list but haven’t had time yet! Any advice? Many thanks! Kathy

Feb 19Reply

avenueposh@katj202 thanks! I do have personal social media that I don’t use for poshmark. I have an one insta account I started when I was doing the poshmark campaigns but stopped when they took the credit from $10 to $5. It’s too much work for $5. There are def people who have success with it - I’m just not one of those people who utilizes it. Maybe start smaller, get your stuff photographed/measured & see what works for you. Build up to that.

Feb 19Reply

katj202@avenueposh thanks so much for your reply. I’ll just use the posh site! I’m truly inspired by your closet and all the positive comments people send to you!

adreannehoggardI’m in love with the dress in the first pic and I have been looking for it for a long time! Where did you get it or what is the brand? Thank you in advance!

Apr 23Reply

avenueposh@adreannehoggard the brand is Sky - I don’t know the style name but I can try to find out for you because it is an older style and I’m not sure you can buy it new anymore - you’d look under shopsky. If you do a search on here under just the brand name sky you might find one!

Apr 23Reply

adreannehoggard@avenueposh thanks! It’s so funny, I saw this dress on maybe Pinterest in 2017 or so and fell in love, and looked for ages.

Apr 23Reply

avenueposh@adreannehoggard i used to know the name but it’s been so long. I bought it to wear to a wedding 7/7/17. But if you look up shopsky and contact them and send them my photo they’ll be able to tell you the name and then you can search for it, if they don’t make it anymore. They keep their styles for a long time but I don’t know about that one

fourscore85Hi, Tara, Thanks for accepting my offer for the darling Torrid ankle straps. Had fun browsing your closet, but I'm strictly a shoe guy. I followed your story as I scrolled down here. I'm a business admin professor who teaches marketing and I recognize good people skills and a "quick learn" approach in your progress. You may have just found your niche in life. GOOD LUCK!

lizcbaldiniThanks for the info about the separator listings. Makes so much sense now and I see how they are organized. Nice job. I'm still trying to understand when someone likes something to send an offer in their bundle. Jul 21Reply

jujuwoodardHi. I just bud on the Clemson tee shirt. It does not go to my son in Texas. It comes to me in SC. If we can strike a deal for the Tigers!!

Sep 01Reply

avenueposh@jujuwoodard hi- I’m not sure what you mean that it goes to you instead of your son. If you’re using your son’s account or have your ship-to address as your son’s you’re going to have to fix that in your account before I get a label to ship.

Sep 01Reply

jujuwoodardDon’t send this Clemson shirt to Grapevine. I accept the $22 offer but can you send it to me? Judy Woodard. 1002 Glen Rd Seneca SC 29672 Then I will accept on Poshmark.

Sep 01Reply

avenueposh@jujuwoodard no I can’t do that. I have to send it to whatever address is on the label or you have to go into the account and change the shipping address. It’s a prepaid printed label. I can’t just send it somewhere else

Jan 26Reply

kimisflippinHi 👋 I know you are very busy but I am new n have a question please…. Were do I go to find out how to organize my listings like you have yours? They’re so nice! 🥰🥰🥰

Feb 12Reply

avenueposh@prepperintn the only way to do it is to share in the order you want them. Every time you share something it’s at the top. You have to make your own separator listings which have nothing for sale in them. I screenshot the logos and put them in a collage app. Or screenshot a generic photo/drawing of something - like a shoe or pants and use that. Then items always have to be shared in order. Hope that makes sense!

Feb 12Reply

kells_86Hello!!! I just started posting on Postmark to try and downsize my closet before I have to move again (AD military). Any advice would be amazing! Not trying to make it into a business, just trying to get some things out and to get my husband to stop nagging me. Thanks again and impressive stats!

Nov 12Reply

avenueposh@kells_86 Hard time to give advice as they are making so many changes. It’s never fast. Good clear pics from as many angles as possible. Comprehensive descriptions. Measurements shown on the item in the photos. Important to include: armpit to armpit, waist, length, arms. With pants/jeans- waist/hips/rise/inseam flat. Business or fun, you want to cut down on the questions & having to fish an item out after and measure. On a platform where you can’t return for fit people want to know. Good luck!

Nov 12Reply

miggys_popThanks for following my closet. I'm offering my followers 30% off until December. I will be on vacation all of December. Tell a friend! Tell Two Friends!
