Authentic vintage M-1950 field jacket. This is a rare US Army issue that was produced for only a short time (1 year or less), between the M-43 & the M-51. One of the features that sets this model apart is that it has no zippers. It's an early forerunner to the M-65 & very popular among collectors & vintage military clothing enthusiasts. duskybutterflyCONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Ready to wear. Nicely worn in - commensurate with age. All buttons are present except for 1 liner button & 1 cuff button, however if you don't plan on attaching a liner one of those buttons can used for the cuff. 2 clumps of thread inside rear neck - probably once had buttons for attaching a hood (not present). Has been laundered. Some light staining on back & some brown staining on inside of collar area (unseen when worn) - see last 2 pics
