oneinamillionjj@alaska42 lol I feel the same way driving out to her house! And my daughter was 4-5 when we used to go there alot (she's 9 now) & she would just groan when I'd tell her where we were going bcuz there's no ppl out there. Lol. That main road out there is 169 & last summer on the way home from vacation we saw a live black bear on the side of the road. It was so crazy!

oneinamillionjj@alaska42 Hmm there was a McNamara I went to Blaine high school with. He was a yr or 2 younger than me, Travis. He died in a drunk driving car accident with 2 others in 96 or 97 though :( I remember he even had quite a few brothers & sisters. Possibly a relation. ?

alaska42I didn’t realize this came from an organization promoting suicide awareness how wonderful! I just thought it was a great quote and then I scrolled down and saw it had an inspirational purpose lol love it 💕

oneinamillionjj@alaska42 You know it probably was just a quote but when Project Semicolon started they adopted it as their mantra along with the semicolon symbol - similar to how AA uses the Serenity Prayer. It is great though bcuz so many people suffer from depression & sometimes just a positive sentence can help someone make it thru the day, so I thought I would carry some of these for ppl that wanted them. :)

alaska42@oneinamillionjj you’re in MN? That’s crazy both my husbands parents whole families are in MN and my dad comes from MN! My brother and I would go visit my grandma in Scandia every summer and visit surrounding family in Champlin, Minneapolis and Zimmerman. I can’t believe you guys are gonna get 8-12” please be safe!!

oneinamillionjj@alaska42 Yep! I'm in Blaine which is prob 10-15 miles from Champlin. Actually my ex husband / daughters father was from Champlin. One of my good girlfriends lives out by Zimmerman. That's almost the middle of no where lol. Wow small world :) I actually was talking to someone from our game the other day only to find out she's prob 5 miles from me if that! Lol

alaska42@oneinamillionjj yasss my Aunt Debbie loves there and we drive out there and we’re like my god when will the fields end!!! 🤣🤣🤣 thy built it themselves so they love it. And David’s whole family loves in Hastings. He’s a McNamara and apparently they make up a good chunk of the town. The freakin high school stadium is named McNamara something or other stadium. We went to visit for the first time after our son was born and I’m gettin a coke at the gas station

I’m like oh I’m a jumped in McNamara I married into it so you’re good this’ll be one less McNamara walkin around in about 4 days lol
