How small is the small?? Every store is different, but is this on the looser side or tighter?

@mrswalter777 I would say it only runs slightly small. But the fit of it is meant to be a roomy fit so that makes sizing slightly more forgiving . I haven't had anyone communicate that they should have gotten a different size than they did.

@crunyon037 Hi there! Okay, so just to make sure that Iโm understanding your concerns... typically in clothing you would take a small (though you are taller, so length in an item is appreciated). Normally, I would guess about 80% of the time, I would conclude that boutique items tend to run small. But, this one seems to run closer to what sizes people normally take. With the medium, you may have the extra length....

@crunyon037 ...but I do know that if you donโt normally take a medium, it might be too blousy or boxy and hide you. As a matter of opinion (since everyoneโs body is different, I can only express opinion of past sales with this), I would think that ordering your normal size might be better and more flattering, even though youโre giving up some of the length (Iโm 5โ9โ, So practically all my sleeves are hopelessly short). If if were me, I would choose the closer fit since it roomy already. Helpful?

@crunyon037 Because it is a bit longer than the average waist-ish length top, so that you can pull it up enough to create that blousy effect. So you are able to pull it up to your comfort level.
