modstyle60Carley, thanks for all your help and the suggestion. The more I look at this dress I think the waist might be a tad too tight. I measured most of my dresses that are similar and they are 16" and they are perfect. I wouldn't want it any tighter especially with the few gathers at the waist, I did, however, send the listing to my niece. I think $18 is well worth it and it would have been only .49 cents more on posh than merc so that would not have deterred me from paying full price.

carleyla@modstyle60 no problem! Thank you for your interest! I would like to add however that the fabric on this dress has good stretch to it, so the waist would not be super fitted tight.

modstyle60@carleyla merc says I do have an acct. Tried everything I could to sign on. Couldn't create a new acct because says already have one. Asked to send password reset to 3 different email addresses...nothing rec'd. Tried signing on w/google...said no such email....tried signing on with Facebook which I hate to do, said no such account even though it showed my Facebook name. I gave up.
