@cynthiajaye hi, it's fitted jersey so it has five but I wouldn't call it elastic. I'll be home within the hour and can double check for you..

@cynthiajaye hi! Thanks for your patience. So, yes there is elastic in the waistband where the two materials meet and unstretched and laying flat it measures appx 15.5" and stretches up to about 19". I hope that helps!!
