lisanelson30Hello I'm new to poshmark - but I just purchased the Michael stars sarong - will it get to me by Wednesday? It is a birthday gift. I am Nashville so close by! Thank you!

Jul 06Reply

xorachelposh@lisanelson30 hi! Yes it definitely should. I was just about to make a p.o. run when I got your purchase so I'm adding it in now and it'll be dropped in the mail in just a few minutes. It's 2 day priority mail. 😊

justinstylecoHey Tomato cakes About the beautiful Roshes I sent you in less than 2 days of purchase. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️really? Postman was SUPPOSED to charge you. Smh I ship in those boxes EVERY single Day never had 1 issue. You did mention He was GOING to charge you........But he didn't correct? Like who does that?

Jul 20Reply

xorachelposh@justinstyleco poshmark clearly states no flat rate boxes. Any other box is acceptable, but not flat rate due to the type of postage that is paid for.

Jul 20Reply

Aug 25Reply

boutique_121Hi Rachel, I know your offer is just a couple of dollars more, but I would have to use my credit card for that difference because I don't have enough posh bucks! I saw your message about dropping the price for discounted shipping, that would be perfect, if you can do that!

Sep 06Reply

xorachelposh@shellie4posh oh, let's avoid credit cards! Resubmit your first offer and I'll accept. 😊 The price drop for discounted shipping only for sure works during a closet clear out event by Posh. So I couldn't guarantee it would work. I need to delete that sign since the event is over 😂

Sep 06Reply

boutique_121@tomatocakes Thank you so much Rachel! I will give you a good deal from my closet, too...if, you are ever interested💗

Sep 06Reply

xorachelposh@shellie4posh thanks!

princess_fleurI just read your post on Facebook, and I want to thank you for putting that out there! We all have choices and no one is forced to use Poshmark. fmrpI have cousins in Tennessee, actually Reynaud’s cover the Louisiana basin, Tn., Kentucky, Tx., etc. like an epithelium.. you ur things are fantastic... I have to stop buying so much! I’m trying to move on to vicarious shopping. I recommend your closet and another closet to a new posher.. she purchased a size 6 Jones of NY from me that my dad had bought for me, I couldn’t wear. She was very sweet.

Nov 13Reply

Dec 14Reply

myrandaposhI love all of your stuff. Will be shopping more after the holidays. Any advice on getting back drops? I have barn door I like but my floors are too shiney in pictures. I too am considering leaving work life to do more of this. With the crazy hours I work and daycare cost of $720 a month I hope this works out. I would appreciate any advice. Your closet is my favorite so far on Poshmark.

Jan 17Reply

xorachelposh@reuseagain thank you 😊💓

Jan 17Reply

xorachelposh@carolineewatson robots aren't allowed in posh ... Self sharing is definitely time consuming but I find it fastest on my iPad, and I can share my whole closet in 45 mins or so

Jan 19Reply

xorachelposh@carolineewatson oh I'm sure they're definitely being used but if you get caught, you can get your account suspended. I try to edit next list once a day (doesn't always happen) and then I share a couple more times during the day. On Instagram you can follow hashtags now so I've started #fairyposhmother for posh tips and tricks if you want to follow it to make sure you see when I post

Jan 19Reply

xorachelposh@carolineewatson well I definitely keep some things to myself, but there's enough clothes in the world for everyone to resell 😊

Jan 19Reply

xorachelposh@erineek hey, I'm never offended. If I can't accept it, I'll counter with my lowest. But I'm always happy to negotiate 💓💓 hope you get better soon and can get back to work!

Feb 24Reply

erineek@tomatocakes Thank you! Your closet is one of the best I've seen, absolutely beautiful! I'm fairly new on this app, or even selling my gently used items. Do u use an app to add signs in ur closet? I'm still trying to figure it all out Your beautiful, I love the hair cut. Like I said ur closet is amazing ❤️

Feb 24Reply

xorachelposh@erineek I'll ship on Monday 💓 I use an app called desygner to make signs. It's by far my favorite app. Happy to help if you have more questions. I love poshmark haha

Feb 24Reply

xorachelposh@judy1031 hi Judy! Thanks for requesting styling! Can you tell me what sizes you need and are you wanting for a specific event?

Mar 11Reply

meglud94You’re so pretty. Ready for mentoring whenever you are lol! I’m not new to the Poshmark app but it’s been a good while since I’ve been active. Plus I have a full time job that will distract me towards the beginning but after a little encouragement I feel like I’ll be proving to myself that I can do this. 😘

Mar 16Reply

xorachelposh@meglud94 you can totally do it!

Mar 16Reply

meglud94@tomatocakes thanks! I’m washing everything tonight and hopefully getting started ASAP. Would you suggest taking pictures of outfits or single items. Of course I would only be selling one at a time but just for the click bait picture people will see...did that make sense? Lol

Mar 16Reply

xorachelposh@meglud94 I think a styled cover photo is really nice to see, but depends on what your photo setup is like and how much time you have

Mar 16Reply

jewel170@tomatocakes I’m going to except. I have to change my info.

Mar 16Reply

xorachelposh@jewel170 ok thanks! 💓

Mar 16Reply

meglud94@tomatocakes Just posted everything I have washed. Any criticism you have to appreciated! Thanks!

Mar 16Reply

xorachelposh@meglud94 it looks good. I'd recommend measurements for everything and also putting the brand in the title to make it more searchable 💓

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes WOW! Just read your bio! We have soooo much in common! What is your bachelor's degree in?

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes You are GORGEOUS!

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes I'm not familiar with Southern Adventist. My husband and I met in college. We both have our bachelor's arts degree in religion. My husband now is bivocational pastor and a principal in large high school. Yes I'm super proud of him. We have two weighs 6 and 9 and it's awesome

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 I have a BSN ( NURSING) but currently I posh full time and am not working as a nurse 💓

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes I love being home. Isn't it your dream job?

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 absolutely. I don't miss working outside the home at all. Posh has been fantastic for me

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes I sooo love Poshmark! More bc of connecting with other women like we are doing right now than selling or finding awesome deals. I got sooo many Christmas gifts on Poshmark this past year. I don't talk about Poshmark at all because I do not want my family or friends to catch on. Or see that most of the gifts they've given me are for sale on Poshmark!!😅😅😅....

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes ...Feels very productive. Not bc I feel the need to bring in income but bc I enjoy it so much. It's an excellent outlet. ESPECIALLY being a strong introvert. Being an mirror image identical twin can do that:)

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 I'm also a strong introvert and posh has given me the ability to make an income without having to deal with people face to face which is ideal 🤣🤣

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes Good gracious! That's crazy? Have you taken Meyers Briggs inventory? It's worth the 15-20 mins if you haven't! https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test Seriously...take this and by the end of the day I'll have one item or more bought from your closet! That's a good deal right there 😄. You have my word. If you have taken it I would love to know your results. Regardless I'm shopping there later this afternoon. Pretty good deal

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 yeah I've taken it before! I'm infj .... The I part is like 90% 🤣🤣

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes 😅😅😅😅😅You make soo much sense. My percentage for introvert is 99%!! Do you know your other three letters?

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 yeah it's IN(INTROVERTED) f (feeling) j (judgment). My protrait is a protector.

Apr 02Reply

mariagrey1978SHUT UP! I'm INFP. The closest to INFJ is INFP. That's crazy. I'm glad you work from home too!

Apr 02Reply

xorachelposh@mariagrey1978 wow that's crazy! What does the P stand for?

Apr 03Reply

mariagrey1978@tomatocakes I/E (as you already know) Introvert/Extrovert. N/S is for iNtuitive and Sensing (which you and I are). F/T is Feeling is Thinking. J/P is judging and perceiving.

fmrpHey 👋 I’d cleaned up my closet, rather how many people I was following, there were closets that didn’t exist anymore .. now I’m re-following my favorite closets.. so much work! Better than cleaning my son’s bedrooms though🤭 😘now you are at the tip of my finger and top of an organized ...heap 🤣

May 05Reply

Jun 28Reply

thriftymamaof5Hi. I absolutely love your closet. If you get a chance i would love for you to look at mine and give helpful tips. Thanks.

Jul 06Reply

xorachelposh@thriftymamaof5 hi! I took at look at your closet and I'd recommend adjusting your titles to go in this order: brand/item/color/style. It doesn't have to be a full coherent phrase or sentence. It needs to be obvious key words that people would use when searching for a similar item. Avoid phrases like stunning beautiful cute pretty etc. That can go in the description. ❤️

Jul 07Reply

thriftymamaof5Thanks! Sorry one more question do you use special lighting?

Jul 07Reply

xorachelposh@thriftymamaof5 no worries! Happy to answer your questions. Yeah, I do use lights. I have 3 ring lights. 2 large and 1 small. I have 2 toddlers and can't guarantee I have enough time during their naps to get all my photos done, so these are bright enough I can even photograph at 10pm and get bright clear pictures ❤️

rmccouturePs- If you feel like giving an HP to anyone, @tpmom lost her twin brother last week. She's an amazing Posher, who supports others, mentors, is compliant, and is just an all-around awesome person. If you have a spot, giving her an HP would really mean a lot. Thanks for your consideration!

ohseedeezHi Rachel! Thank you for saying hello :-) It just blows my mind when I see people that either follow or have a hundred and fifty thousand followers. I just found Posh this past summer and am drinking the kool aid--my closet goes live at the end of September. I would very much like to send you an invitation and I value any feedback/helpful hits you may offer. T.T.F.N. Julia 🦄🦄🦄

Sep 04Reply

xorachelposh@jvendeland can't wait to see your closet! The koolaid is real. I started spring of 2017 and it's my full income now! Let me know if you have any questions ❤️❤️

Sep 04Reply

ohseedeez@tomatocakes Will do 🍅 Do you style your photo shoots because they are first class? My biggest fear is the camera but i hear that's what people buy. Do you know of a good forum where poshers chat and share photos? Not for off site sales, just easier communication. Thank you for being available, it is very much appreciated.

Sep 04Reply

xorachelposh@jvendeland I have a photo set up in my office and I just use my phone. I don't want to spend the money to buy a camera. Most poshers I know just use their phone. You can. Message me on Instagram: thecuratedtomato and I'll be happy to chat ❤️

Mar 16Reply

rabbitwholedealHello love!

Mar 18Reply

serendipityinnyHi sorry to bug u I just thought if u you would know - Poshmark deleted one of my listing saying it was counterfeit of Valentino when there really is a brand named VALENTINA WITH AN A n there r other posher selling the same bag but they r not flagged? Does that happen quite a bit? 😕😕😕☹️☹️☹️😔😔😔😖😩

Mar 19Reply

xorachelposh@srgdancarina827 ugh someone may have reported it, either not understanding that there is another brand that way, or out if trying to prevent competition for themselves 😩 I had a pair of Ferragamo shoes deleted for being fakes but they are most definitely authentic. It's frustrating. I'd say just let the 30 days pass and take new pics and relist 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinnyNo my friend I don't ever let someone fabricate n or eclipsed my unwavering principle of bring honest💪🚔💫. I APPEALED mind u w pics of the other listings. It's really frustrating!!! Bc I even got lightly reprimanded for mentioning other brands (when I hurt started out so I didn't know better) but then I c ppl selling counterfeitsn knockoffs so blatantly where r the Posh cops then?😩😩😩😆😆😖😖😡😡😡😣😇🙏🏼😔💚🙃🚔💫I earnestly appreciate ur helpful response

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinnyI love ferragamo!!!😍😍💚🚔💫🙃

Mar 19Reply

xorachelposh@srgdancarina827 yes it's very frustrating but I think it's just the luck of the draw if someone reports your listing etc

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinnyBut then the question arises where is Poshmark's own quality control team or their research team. ☹️

Mar 19Reply

xorachelposh@srgdancarina827 valid question. I love posh but it can be quite frustrating

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinnyThx for all your shares. I am in a total fiasco today. I bought a bag from Poshmark (less than $50 w shipping) n though it says it was delivered I never received it n they r researching as to where exactly the truck driver delivered n to whom. In this scenarios, how does Poshmark handle such situation n am I covered by the automatic $50 insurance with priority mail from USPS. 😖😖😖😩😩😩. Thx n I m so sorry that I bombarding e ?s amidst ur bz schedule 😔😔💫

xorachelposh@srgdancarina827 If it never shows up, posh will refund you. Sometimes it shows up in a day or two though

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinny@tomatocakes o no it says delivered n when I went to work today, they said that no one had received any package for me. And then when the post office did a vicinity search they get another building number, so everything is contingent on what the driver tells us, but let's say I am not aware that there is a sour apple at work n the truck driver gives the proper address (it was this Monday) but ppl at my work claims they never received it, do u know what happens then?

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinny@tomatocakes thx again much appreciated really 💫

Mar 19Reply

xorachelposh@srgdancarina827 yeah sometimes it just gets delivered to the wrong address and then whoever gives it back to the mailman and redelivered to you. It will be refunded though if you don't get it

Mar 19Reply

serendipityinnyOk thx so so so so much I am touched by your time to help me with my questions. I am a closeted posh ambassador n though I c no benefit in being one, it would give me personal satisfaction that I could be of help to some one n I sense that from u as well. Thx n fingers crossed tight. 💫💚🚔🙃😔

Mar 19Reply

classychicdivaHello Rachel. Wondering how long it’s taken you to lust 5151 items? How often do you add to your closet? How much room storing 5151 items take? What’s your average number of sales per week and per month since you started? What are your secrets for continuously and consistently selling enough items to average $2-$3k per month net profit?

Mar 27Reply

classychicdivaI’m new and have sold 1 item. Just can’t seem to find the time to list my dead pile and cross post on eBay or keep my processes intact for sourcing, book-keeping, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Mar 27Reply

classychicdivaYou must be superwoman to manage all that you do. How do you do it?

lyricalllamaHi, Rachel! Thank you for sharing my closet. You are such an inspiration to me over on YouTube. If I am even a fraction of the way to all the goals you've accomplished in 2 years, when I've been on Posh for 2 years, I will be so proud of myself! 🤗😘🎉🎈🎀 It's been a month and a week, and I'm so addicted! Apr 20Reply

ruteeLove your profile pic! Thanks for the shares. ❤

Apr 21Reply

xorachelposh@the_fancy_bird are you wondering where to source?

Apr 22Reply

xorachelposh@the_fancy_bird I only offer mystery boxes when I have a surplus of inventory and can't function with it all. My best suggestion is to find local charity thrift stores that support specific causes. People donate to causes they believe in so you often find better items there

Apr 22Reply

poshitive_vibeYour closet is amazing and so are you I strive to have a beautiful closet like yours! ❤❤

r2tI ❤️ the reseller watercooler podcast you co-host with your friends. I am a timid newbie who has yet to post her first item. I have plenty to sell. Mostly Vera Bradley & Coach handbags. Some clothing. Home spa essentials, & a French Press coffee maker. I have purchased from Poshers before and have been nothing but satisfied. I am just going to go for it and post my 1st item on Friday. I will have to learn as I go. I am a 🐢 Do you think I am making a mistake by taking a gradual approach?

May 21Reply

xorachelposh@r2t hey! Thanks so much for listening in. I think slow and steady is a fine way to start, especially if it doesn't have to be your main income. Start like you are planning with items you already have -- I'd never encourage someone to go out and pay for inventory before they have an idea if the enjoy it or not. Be careful with listing items like the French press etc .. not necessarily compliant with Poshmark guidelines. That would be better on other platforms probably 💕

May 21Reply

marleyandsheeHi Rachel! I’m in love with your closet and your You Tube Channel! I’m also a RN who is trying to transition to Poshmark at least part time for now....I was wondering if you ever do Mystery boxes? I would absolutely LOVE TO OPEN ONE FROM YOUR CLOSET😍❤️

Jun 16Reply

xorachelposh@mus1cman11 hi Rick, welcome to poshmark. It looks like you've gotten your closet started off well. My biggest recommendations for new poshers is to have clear, bright photographs, and search engine optimization in your titles -- meaning specific titles that include brand, style, color, material etc. I don't know much of anything about whole sale or dropshipping as I thrift my closet, but good luck!

Jun 16Reply

xorachelposh@marleyandshee hi! I haven't done mystery boxes for a while ... I don't so them regularly because I don't want to fill them just with items I cannot sell, so I have only done them when I stumble upon a huge influx of inventory that I just cannot handle on my own. If I ever do them though, I advertise them on my IG (thecuratedtomato) 💞

Jun 16Reply

marleyandshee@tomatocakes great! I’ll keep an eye out since I follow you on IG as well☺️🌻
