ashleycolwrightHey @kimreddy22 I believe it would be close. My best suggestion would be to measure one of your favorite fitting tops and see how the measurements line up. The bust measurement was taken from arm pit to arm pit. It is a lighter weight sheer type material. Hope all this helps :)

ashleycolwright@kimreddy22 The small might fit you better then. You can check the size chart in the photo section to see what you think. Poshmark actually doesn't offer returns & you can have your account suspended for doing off posh returns or purchases.

kimreddy22Hi!! I am so sad, I received the top yesterday and love it, but the small is too narrow for me even though the bust says 38" and that's what I am. Is there anyway at all I can exchange it for the M 42" that you said you have? I would even pay for the return shipping. Please....

ashleycolwrightHey @kimreddy22 I'm so very sorry that the top doesn't fit, it is one of my favorites too. According to Poshmark rules off posh sales, exchanges etc are against their policies. :( Maybe you can re-posh the item.
