Elastic waist band (not like a yoga waist band). 92%Polyester 8%Spandex. Very soft fabric! Fits up to a Size 12 comfortably! This is a thicker fabric. It is not sheer like tights. These hold their shape well. I personally own several pairs of these and would say they are comparable to the ever famous LuLaRoe leggings (of which I own over 10 pairs). Pic 4 gives an idea of the style of waist band.
