Elastic waist band (not like a yoga waist band). 92%Polyester 8%Spandex. Very soft fabric! Fits up to a Size 12 comfortably! This is a thicker fabric. It is not sheer like tights. These hold their shape well. I personally own several pairs of these and would say they are comparable to the ever famous LuLaRoe leggings (of which I own over 10 pairs). Pic 3 gives an idea of the style of waist band.

tots_n_tikes @mjinglot Great question! These have a thinner elastic waistband. I own a ton of LLR leggings and love the yoga style waistband. And while these leggings aren't that exact style, I had no problems with the waistband on these leggings. They sit higher on the waist and do not slip down or lose their shape. 😆

tots_n_tikes @poshlawyer I am 5'6". I definitely had some extra length left. My guess is that they would be right around top of your ankle. I can take an inseam measurement for you, but I'm not sure how accurate it would be considering the fact that leggings stretch once you put them on.😊
