Nov 02Reply

jayru@dottieandchloe Awww thanks so much! Very nice of you to mention. 💕💕

Nov 02Reply

jayru@thebest4less Hi, Pennie! 😊 Nice to meet you too. And thank you; I appreciate that. I would advice being very interactive in the community. I share other closets A LOT. Probably somewhere around a thousand a day. More than needed, but I enjoy looking at other closets.

Nov 02Reply

jayru@thebest4less Respond as quickly as possible to potential buyers. Use clear pictures and detailed descriptions. Ship items ASAP. The goal is to ALWAYS get a 5-star rating and making sure the buyer is completely satisfied. This is the reason I provide details and answer all questions.

Nov 02Reply

jayru@thebest4less Be very open to offers, no matter how low. It may get annoying sometimes receiving lowball offers, but always counteroffer. It gives the buyer a chance to take another look at the item and assess its value. Declining an offer seems rude sometimes, although it is not the intention.

Nov 02Reply

jayru@thebest4less Another key advice is having a GREAT cover photo. Very important! This is the first point of contact to any potential buyer. It has to grab their attention. I like to use stock photos (some really great ones can be found on Pinterest). A great cover photo is more professional and appealing. I hope my 2 cents go a long way in helping you in your journey. 😅

Nov 02Reply

jayru@thebest4less Glad I could be of help. You’re most welcome. 🙂

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 Hello. I’m just seeing your comment. Unfortunately, I can’t bundle them for you. As a seller, I don’t have that privilege. You would have to click on the “add to bundle” button in order to create a bundle, afterwhich I could send you an offer at a discount. :)

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 Okay. I’m so sorry for the mixup. I could give you discounted shipping by dropping the price if you’d like or simply by taking the shipping cost out of the price of my counter offer. That would bring the dress to $28. It’s up to you. 😊

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 Okay. Should I go ahead and drop the price? That would give you a chance to even get discounted shipping through Poshmark.

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 I’ve dropped it. It’s yours for the taking. 😉

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 I’m glad we could work it out. I will ship your items out first thing tomorrow morning. 🤗🛍

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 God bless you, too! And Happy Thanksgiving. 🤗 Cheers!

Nov 12Reply

jayru@lindyk123 Hello. I mailed them Monday morning. I can check with the post office to see what’s going on. You should have received them on Wednesday. I mailed two other items along with yours that same day and those buyers have received their items. It’s odd that you have not. I will contact you soon if I have new information on the status of your package. Sorry about any inconvenience this may have caused.

Nov 16Reply

jayru@lindyk123 No, I mailed them separately.

Nov 17Reply

jayru@lindyk123 Yay! I’m glad the packages are on their way to you. I was starting to get worried the post office had lost them or something. 😅🤗

iluvfritzThank you Jay for leaving a little note in my dressing room and styling me!! I love the boots but they are not my size. 😞 You have a GREAT closet!! I will be watching your posts. I am just starting to sell on PM. Do you take all offers you get? I gave been holding out, but I’m not selling much anymore. Also, how long do you leave seasonal clothes that haven’t in your closet? Year round?

Aug 03Reply

jayru@iluvfritz Hi Romy! 😊 Thank you so much. I accept most offers granted they are reasonable, but I’m always willing to negotiate. Also, I leave my seasonal clothes all year round so my customers are not restricted by seasons. 😄 If you see any items you like that are your size, feel free to add them to a bundle or make an offer. I’m trying to downsize, so I’m happy to go lower on my prices!

Aug 03Reply

iluvfritz@jayru Hey Jay! Thank you for the info. I’ll keep your offer to negotiate in mind. You are sweet and kind!! I appreciate you so much!! 💕🌈👗👠👙👜⭐️🥇

Aug 03Reply

iluvfritzI’ve received a hand full of low offers...like half of my asking price. Most of what I’m selling is like new...hardly worn. The shoes I bought new to sell in my closet. They are mine and my daughter’s sizes so we can wear them if they don’t sell. 🤗

Aug 03Reply

jayru@iluvfritz That’s a smart move! Most of my items are my size as well. I love fashion so much. This is a great platform to make money and do what we love! Enjoy! 🤗💕🎀🛍

Feb 03Reply

jayru@belladonna1313 Of course! Happy to help. 🙂

Feb 03Reply

belladonna1313again you are a rock star, thanks im so new and overwhelmed

Feb 03Reply

jayru@belladonna1313 😉! Yeah it can get very overwhelming, but it’s so much fun too. It’s all about finding a balance. You’ll get the hang of it soon. Let me know if you ever need help or have any questions. 💞

Feb 03Reply

belladonna1313i do, my son owns jewelry stores so i have tons of 925 silver earrings, where or how do i get a sign or image saying 2nd pair receive 20 percent off and so i see tons of people have signs like bundle and get discounts

Feb 03Reply

jayru@belladonna1313 If you go to “My Seller Tools” and then “My Seller Discounts,” you can customize whatever bundle sale you want. It has options ranging from 5% to 30% for bundles of 2 to 7 items. As for promoting your sales, you’ll have to make a separate post saying you have a sale going on in your closet OR you could use a picture editing app to advertise your sale on your listing pictures. I’ll mention you in one such sale I’ve done in the past to give you a visual of what I mean. 😊

Feb 03Reply

belladonna1313@jayru so should i draw one w marker and take a pic and use that

Feb 03Reply

jayru@belladonna1313 Some people choose to do that. I prefer to use a picture editing app like Font Candy or Spark Post. They are both free. With those apps, you can just write on your own pictures. They have numerous choices of fancy scripts and design options.

Feb 03Reply

belladonna1313@jayru which app can i use to make a sign im not sure i can but ill try lol you are oh so kind

Feb 03Reply

jayru@belladonna1313 Lol no worries! I use Font Candy and Spark Post. They should be available in your App Store.

jayru@justalilglam What’s going on with my order please?? 🤧

Jun 27Reply

jayru@justalilglam I ordered the LV wallets from you and you canceled it after our agreement and now I can’t repurchase or comment on the listing. I’m so confused!!

Jun 27Reply

jayru@justalilglam Oh I’m just seeing the email from Poshmark about your reason. They don’t state it in the app for some reason. Well I can repurchase and have it delivered to where I am so that your funds are not held up. Wish you had just spoken to me about it so that we worked that out instead of just canceling. 😔 If you will unblock me, I would like to repurchase please.

Jun 27Reply

fabfinds4femmesWOW, your closet is amazing‼️ Amazing taste, amazing quality.💎 Hey, thanks for sharing your followers. I only started Poshing a couple months ago and I’ve been working really hard to build a good closet so I really appreciate the exposure. Wishing you happy Poshing🎉 and super sales! 🛍🛍🛍

Jul 15Reply

jayru@fabfinds4femmes Thank you so so much!! And welcome to the Posh community!! 💕🌸 I really appreciate the complement, and I enjoyed looking through your closet as well. I agree, curating your closet takes time but is so worth it! I wish you all the best and many many sales. Again, welcome! And remember to have fun with it. 😉🥳

Jul 15Reply

fabfinds4femmesThanks for the shares and the advice! It is fun but I can get really gripped! I work really hard on presentation, I try to price things right, I get good feedback but not so many sales yet. That’s why I really appreciate it when established, successful poshers share my things with their followers — especially when they have a great closet like yours. So thanks again!!!

Jul 15Reply

Getting my things in front of your huge following is such a help. ❤️💜💙 Have a great day! 🌻

Jul 29Reply

jayru@fabfinds4femmes I’m glad I could be of help!! I hope your sales increase. Be sure to share your items as often as you can as that increases exposure. I’m rooting for you!! 💕 Just reach out whenever you need help; and I’ll continue to check out your closet and share your items when I can. 😊

spb59I accidentally repurchased the Zara chain top. I already have it and currently trying to reposh. I am trying to cancel the order but not very familiar all the different tools. Sorry about this mistake and I certainly do not need another top. The chains were much too long on me. Any suggestions on how I can cancel the order?

koko_ro@jayru hi! I’d like to make an offer for your blue faux fur Zara jacket but i don’t want to offend! Can you elaborate more on what’s reasonable for you?

Apr 08Reply

jayru@koko_ro Hello. I consider all offers greater than 40% off. Anything less than 40-50% off my asking price, I generally don’t consider. Thank you for asking! 😊
