I am back in the USA after taking part in my brother's memorial service. It was a celebration of his life, just as he would have wanted. There were funny stories, love and laughter. I even toasted him with his favorite tipple. My brother was a big personality, loving, caring, mischievous and fun loving and he will be missed. Thank you all for your support. tamaralite Oh Erika, I am so very very sorry. You must be in the throws of grieving pain. The kind that aches at your throat and heart. This is a hard time for you, I understand. I lost my mother last December and my father in March. He was my best friend and I saw him everyday until the end. I know your pain. My mother had Alzheimers and he took care of her. When she died he died imside. So if you need to talk, talk, vent then vent or cry then cry. 💕💖💕

I lost my mother at 15 to cancer, my brother now too and my Dad also has cancer and is declining fast. I just feel numb right now to be honest. It all seems like a bad dream. Today is a tough day for me as its its one year anniversary of my brother passing. My dad passed away 4 weeks later. I am trying hard to let my creativity and love win over the sadness and friends like you help so much ❤️❤️

So I understand your grief, in a way. On October 30, 2004 I lost my boyfriend (my soul mate) of 11 years to an OD. When reading your description of your brothers personality it was describing my Michael. Bet they're hitting it off in heaven right now. One year is still so new..

fancytiger24 @spiritofariel death never becomes ok. It's too final. But taking one day at a time and having creativity as a therapeutic outlet is good for your soul and heart and mind. Remember he'd want you to look back with love and remember the good times. He's waiting for you up there. I know my Michael is. Wow both on the 30th. I felt a connection to you too. thwelshbohemian @fancytiger24 Oh girl thank you for sharing with me too. I'm sorry for your loss, I can't Imagine how hard that would be and time makes it easier but the pain never leaves. I lost my mom 25 years ago and I still cry for her. Yes he was a special person and definitely loved fun so he's definitely up there partying and the more the merrier as far as she's concerned. He's up there with his husband Mike.

thwelshbohemian @fancytiger24 His love and soulmates name was also Michael. He was the making of my brother I cried my eyes out when he passed away 5 years ago as I couldn't imagine my brother without him. Yes I am a big believer in there being reasons why people cross paths.

My one brother Steven passed when I was seven then my mother when I was 15 and now my dad and brother with in 4 weeks of each other at the end of last year. I am just trying to be thankful for what I have right now my sister my husband and my children.
