leoninus@gatorgurlr6 I haven't worn them out and about in a city and they are 4" heels so I would say if you're accustomed to high-heels you'll probably fair better. I wore 5" heel a lot due my younger years so these aren't a big deal to me.

leoninus@amical2414 I wear size 10 in closed toe boots, size 11 in Brooks running shoes, size 9.5 in most open toe sandals. Size 10 fit me in these. Unless you plan to add thick padded inserts or wear thick socks I would go with usual size. These are better fitting boots than the gray.

leoninus@smfcandi79 Approximately 14" at the calf, 16" leg opening not including drawstring. My calves are just under 14 1/2" and I'm able to put them on with ease. I'm unable to exchange footwear.

leoninus@215posher Oh, one of the differences between the gray and this color is that the gray doesn't have the formed piece that comes up over the top of the foot-the vamp of the boot. Look closely at the top of the foot on the gray ON THE LEFT of the cover image, not the right. The right isn't the actual style.

leoninus@carlylynne_ It has some give to it but not a lot. - They can feel like they won't give but then they do. So it depends on how big your calves are. I don't recommend them for 17" or larger.
