We have a new fake to add to the list! This time it's Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern renaissance!! It's coming from Ali Express and wish. I know Fakes are cheaper. But they are cheaper for a reason!! The ingredients used are not approved to be used in cosmetics! They are using corner cutting ingredients that could potentially harm you! amandaazoe It's not the serial number itself, it's how it's printed. I'd have to get home from work to show you. Sorry j just saw how I worded it in this post. Alieexpress is copying a legit serial number sometimes. I've seen this serial number on legit palates. Also when I get home in about an hour and a half im making a post showing like 5 other ways to tell real from fakes. I can tag you in it when I do if you'd like?

catsparadise Shared! I'm so sick of these gross fakes. They're very dangerous and like you said they aren't vegan or cruelty free at all. I know a girl that almost lost her eye from using a fake she bought that was sold as authentic on ebay. Beware of the Glinda palettes and Theodora pallets too because they're being faked along with different vice palettes. I made a post about it.

amandaazoe @krystal4360 I just made a detailed listing on how to tell fake vs. Real ABH modern romance palette. And there are more fakes than what you listed. There's fake ABH glow palettes, colourpop eyeshadows, lime crime lippies and eyeshadows, too faced palettes. It's sickening! I'm going to make a profile dedicated to telling real vs. Fake make up.

amandaazoe @lolitalady you can call your local ultra or sephora. They restock regularly. Just have to be patient or risk buying a fake. I posted this to help people buy them on here more safely. These are things to look for. Ask the seller for pictures that would show you these things.

I needed baby oil and after that my lips felt like they had frostbite. cokeorpepsi Hello! I bought a fake ABH MR palette (long story) and learned the easiest way to tell if a palette is fake is by the MAGNETIC CLOSERS. If the palette is real, you shouldn't be able to see circular magnetic closers popping out of the edges of the palette. It should be smooth throughout the border of the palette. Just ask the seller to take a pic of the inside and check if there is any circular magnets rising from the palette's edges. Hope this helps.

amandaazoe @estibali87 sweetheart that looks real. The receipt looks real too! I do believe this is authentic. If you want another way to help you feel good about it being authentic, go to Sephora/Ulta and take pictures of the real one, swatch the shadows and take pics of how they show up on your skin. Then Swatch those. Compare the pics. But I do believe you have the real deal. :)

amandaazoe @estibali87 no :( mine had a very faint makeup smell. There's an app you can scan the barcode on the back to tell real vs. fake. Just to be sure try it. Search for the app "Authenticateit"
