sandapanda@chellemoraga hi Michelle, sorry for the delay in my response. It is hard for me to say since it is hard to know how things for people. The waist is 14" (but has elastic), and armpit to armpit is 18.5". In general I would say it has a looser style to it- not meant to be fitted. Hope this helps!
