couturewarrior@rgordofit hi, its an alloy metal (combination of metals usually brass). I would suggest not wearing it 24/7 or bathing with it to help its longevity. It shouldnt turn your skin green, if thats what you mean as this brand uses lead and nickel free materials. Hope that helps :)
