We rescued ducklings 6/2016 There was 5 brown with spots and one yellow (Lema) that was injured! Everyday I fed them fresh veggies, treats and let them in their pool of cool water. She healed up well!! They grew up so fast! As you can see in the Pics. 7/16 Pic#4 their trip to Sea World's Water Fowl Rescue. They all are females Mallard Ducks and Lema is a rare Albino Mallard! They kept them!! UPDATE! We saw them in SeaWorld's Center Lake they swam excitedly up to us! I'm so Happy!❤️🐤🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧❤️

Starting to nick name them the only yellow one is Yella! 🐥The biggest darkest and fastest is Speedy!🐥 and the rest are identical so. I them tiny, cutie, sweetie, and honey.They are wild ducklings so I don't hold them much. I want them to be able to survive. My daughter bought over 10 acres down here and she is building a home there right now it has a pond! Read on..

luvmyqh6We have saved ducks before but not this young! My daughter will be back from NC tomorrow night! She misses them! I started giving them names! LOL Lema, Speedy, Cutie, Honey, Sweetie, and Daisy! I still don't know if they are boys or girls Lol! The yellow one "Lema" was the one that got hit with his mom! I found out that the 5 darker ones are Mallard Ducklings but the little yellow one is so Cute but I don't know what kind of duckling she is and how her mommie got her/he maybe found her? I had to put a pen around their swimming lesson pool because they would jump out towards me in my pool and I was afraid the filter would suck them in or the water was to deep! Pink eyes yellow down fur is growing out and He/she is becoming lighter like white and I'm finding white feathers! They are just starting to become friendly not as scared as they were last week. I have grown so close to them!!😊❤️🐥❤️🐴

luvmyqh6@wenrella I do the same thing when I find who is co hosting I go in their closets and share their items and hope they notice! Oh one little duckling is easier to take care of! But 6 well I get very little sleep because they eat 24/7 and I'm a clean freak so these little guys are the cleanest Ducklings in FL! Lolol👍🏻😊❤️🐴

luvmyqh6@poshgarden Well.... I'm kinda keeping them all! We changed our minds! Where I am with the horses, it's far back off a main road and its on a controlled (no alligators) spring fed lake! It will be perfect for them and I can ride to the lake on my big baby🐴 to see and give treats to my little babies! So it's a win win situation!😊🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐤👍🏻❤️😊

sunnietrish@luvmyqh6 wow good for you! We raised 2 baby leghorn chicks-someone put them in a brown bag on the seat of my Dads car at the Mall it was about a week after Easter! They had their eyes closed so we fed with eye droppers -they imprinted with my dog -followed her everywhere! Good luck 😀

Tomorrow morning I will be transporting them to Sea World's Water Fowl Rescue unit for their transition time of 4wks to be ready to set them free! I will miss them so much! I hope and pray they will live a healthy, happy long life's! I'm going to be in tears when I do this, but it is for the best! luvmyqh6This is my last update for my PFF's who sent me the words of encouragement, kind thoughts, and faith and hope for these little darlings that they would grow up strong and healthy! And now being checked out completely buy a vet and specialists tagging them. I was told they were all Female Mallard Ducks. Lemon (little yellow one) is a rare Mallard Albino duck and they may keep her and put her on their center lake in the Sea World Park.

luvmyqh6She has difficulty keeping up when it's feeding time with her poor eye site! The sibling closet to her will stay with her but the rest will be able to take one more trip to their final Duck Rescue Ranch with other ducks in similar situations and be released to freedom! I miss their little squeaks, quacks and nipping on my toes plus when they use to call out to me for meals! Thank you all for being there for me! I couldn't of done it without you! 👍🏻👏🏻❤️😭😩💔🐤🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧💔

Speedy (the one that kept swimming around like a mini submarine) Squeaky the one that made the most noise.
