Traction outsole, quality leather, functioning inner zip with outer zip design detail (non functioning). Wood stacked heel measures about 2 1/2" high. SIZING INFO recommendation! Fit is a very personal thing, a designer shoes do vary. Because of the pointed toe, this boot fits me best at a size 7 medium width, though tags say size 8.
