meboutique @plbarela It is open on all sides. The surface is smooth & the bottom is the natural rougher Quartz. It could be a bit uncomfortable to wear without it being smooth I would think. I am always snagging my clothes with jewelry & I wear these a lot & have never had a snag or felt it was scratchy.
